2 TBSP Honey ~ ½ TSP Ground Cinnamon ~ 1 cup Water ~ 1 pear - diced ~ 12 oz of Fresh Cranberries ~ ¼ cup Truvia (or sugar)
Instructions
In a medium saucepan boil the water, cinnamon and honey until the honey is dissolved.
Rinse the cranberries then add to the pan with the diced pear.
Bring back to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes, stirring periodically so you don't scorch it. You will hear the cranberries popping open.
Remove from heat and then mash lightly with a fork, add the truvia a little at a time to taste.
Let the sauce cool in the fridge, it will start to thicken the longer it sits. I did try it warm though and it was just as good.
