I am going to breakdown the category Travel. I have to admit this one is a little easy as I want to go to a lot of different places.
TO COMPLETE WITHIN 2 MONTHS – TWO GOALS
Save $100 per month towards travel expenses
Research two trips to happen this year
TO COMPLETE IN A YEAR OR LESS – THREE GOALS
Stay in a Bed and Breakfast
Travel to Michigan – My Ohio State heart is breaking a little at admitting this one. 😉
Travel to Texas
TO COMPLETE WITHIN 5 YEARS – FIVE GOALS
Travel to Canada
Travel to Italy
Visit 5 out of state friends
Travel to another state to help with relief aid
Travel to Minnesota to visit family
Bonus: Go to Niagria Falls
TO COMPLETE IN 5 YEARS OR MORE – TWO GOALS
Travel to Ireland
Travel to Australia
Some of these goals may change as time goes on and that is okay. The point is to move forward towards them and revise as needed.
What places are on your list?

Love, love, love this! No surprise there. 🙂 This book is life changing….such a good pick. I am, just now, starting to draft my ORGs. The relief aid travel is inspired…what a great idea…it crosses into the generosity group. Happy Thursday!
I figured you would love this category. It is such a great book for really getting everything out and on paper, and making the steps to make it happen. Yes, it could be used for both. Happy Thursday.
i say you should bump up travel to canada earlier! just come in the summer months because winter here (much like yours!) is brutal!
I totally agree!! Yes, definitely not Winter.
Goddess speed to you. Safe travels always.
Gotta give this book a read. Sounds like a vision board
Love, SMD’s Momma
Yes, you should pick it up. It really gives you a little structure, to dream big and make a plan to set it all in motion.
i want to visit greece! it’s on my list!
Ohhhh, yes Greece is on my list too!!
Love it! Can’t wait to see you smash your goals and hear all about your exciting trips!
Thank you. I think it is going to be a blast to get to all of them. I’m excited about it.
If you make it to Michigan don’t forget to visit MeeMee, I so wanted to meet up with her while I was up there but winter snow storms had other plans.
She is actually reason for the trip to Michigan. I wouldn’t want to go otherwise! 😉
I hope you’re able to make it to Italy before your 5 year mark!! It’s so great how you’ve broken this out! xo, Biana
Italy is my top choice, I have wanted to go forever. The smaller ones are easier, but the others I will have to save up for to go.
I love this. It’s very inspiring and encouraging! It makes me want to write out my goals and plans for the next 10 years!
Thank you. Writing them out makes you so much more aware of them. I say do it, dream big and then break them down to make them happen! 🙂
Love it!
I have a lot on my list and am actually hitting a lot of them in the next two years: Niagara Falls, Mt. Rushmore, Montana, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Paris.
Those are all great places. Paris is a must too. You of course are in the 5 out of states friends to visit! 😉
What a great list! I want to go to Australia too! When you go can you put me in your suitcase? =P
We can try, but you might have trouble in customs! 😉
TEXASSSSSS! There would be thumbs up emojis. but I’m not on my phone or ipad 🙂
You know it. That one is for you, girlie! Oh, and my lifelong idea that I was meant to be from Texas. 😉
Love these posts!! I want to go to Canada so badly!
Thank you. I love being able to document them so I don’t forget!! I will be making it to Canada, hopefully sometime soon!
eeeep I am selfishly so excited because I am going to Italy and Ireland lol. They have seriously been on my list for like 15 years so I am beyond excited – hope you get to go as well (and to Australia!!) one day. I love that you are writing out your goals like this. I would love to go to Niagria Falls as well!
You will have to take lots of pictures and let me know all the great places to go. You must be so excited, I have heard so many great things about both places. Thanks, I really like thinking about them and documenting them so I can look back and work towards them.
I love the travel goals! All of my family is in MN…and I’m in TX! (for now…maybe…)
Awww Texas! Hook em’ horns. I’ll have to pick your brain on some must see places.
Ireland and Australia are on my list, too 🙂
When I was putting together my 40 x 40 list, I included travel on there. I put Salem, MA, the UK (not just England, the whole UK), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and somewhere else I can’t remember right now. In addition to that, I have a whole list of places I either want to revisit as an adult or go to for the first time.
And just remember, I’m an out of state friend and Delaware has tax free shopping! And outlets! At the beach!
Ireland is on my list too, my brother went there and loved it. You better let me know when you are in Salem! It’s close to me. We might have to make it a girls weekend, since I will be popping in with Steph, or a multi-stop road trip!
I haven’t traveled internationally in a few years but I’m going to Cabo and Ireland in the next year!
It’s been awhile since I have too, Germany was a few years back. Hope you have a blast. Take lots of pictures!
Loving all the travel goals… in my opinion the best goals to have 🙂
So important to see the world and see how others live.
I love your travel plans! I live with the travel bug so I’m always researching and looking at fun and exciting places to visit one day.
I have mostly stuck to local travel so I really want to do some international travel.
Hooray – love that Texas is on your list!!! (even though I don’t live there anymore, it is my favorite and I think everyone should visit Texas!!)
Australia is on my long term dream list, too.
I have always had this feeling that I was meant to live in Texas. The people there are just the nicest, so I think I would love it.
I completely cosign the Australia trip. I plan on going back next year!! 🙂
It has been on my list for far too long! I’ll have to pick your brain and Kristen’s for all the must see places.
I think travel is an invaluable gift we give ourselves. You learn more by traveling and the process of than any other opportunity in life. Great goals!
Yes, the people you meet, the challenges, the culture. It provide so much to see and learn.
Bed and breakfasts are amazing! Airbnb can also be a great, cheaper alternative to hotels. 🙂
Thank you, I’ll have to check them out. I think a day of sleep in and having someone else cook sounds like heaven!
YES! Obviously my favorite one is the Michigan one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀
Haha! I was waiting for you to figure that one out! 🙂
