You may have read my post about Random Acts of Kindness as a way to give back and to do Random Acts of Kindness year round and not just during Christmas time. My friend also shared this article that really spoke to me and left me in tears (in a good way, of course) because it simply put that when you are struggling to be happy make a list of the things you most value. If you are lacking in one area that you hold dear that item needs some attention. I am a happy go lucky person usually but even I have my moments when I feel unfilled at times. Like there is some bigger or more I could be doing with my time.
To say we all get overwhelmed in our day to day lives is an understatement. I tend to take on too much and do to much that it can leave me feeling blah. I know in those moments that I need to give back. When I volunteered at a local animal shelter it was one of the happiest times in my life, especially since it brought me to adopting Seamus.
What I didn’t realize at the time though was that giving back is something that brings me great joy! So I will be sharing Random Acts done by others throughout the world and also some of my own.
