Who wants some citrus flavor?! It is finally getting hot here, and as much as I disliked the Polar Vortex I really am not a fan of sweating just for breathing. So that means lots of poolside or porch sitting and drinking cold beverages. I don’t drink during the week, really my body can only take one day on the weekends, and this citrus cocktail was on the menu. Yes, I’m old. It just so happens that I had all the ingredients on hand aside from the grenadine.
Directions: Do we really need any here? Mix it all up and toss the garnish in or on a fancy stick. Stir and enjoy! Poolside is best but it’s not required.
Can you just picture the palm trees now! 😉
What is your favorite beach day drink? Alcoholic or Non-alcoholic.

oh man, vodka and i are NOT friends. however there is rum in this as well, which is my drink of choice, so maybe i’ll let it slide… wishing i was on a beach with a rum punch in hand right now!!
Just double up on the Rum, and leave Vodka on the shelf! 😉

I load up my tall glass with ice and add some
Of my own brewed green tea. Very refreshing.

at first i thought this was gonna be able infusing water, but then i saw the alcohol, and i was all in. i’d change mine to rum since vodka gives me headaches!
It is a mix of rum and vodka but you can easily substitute the Vodka for extra rum! 😉
That looks like the perfect summer cocktail! I’ve still yet to try the strawberry rum but sounds so good!
Oh you need to go get some!! It perfect even if just with sprite but can be mixed with so much.

I’m trying to figure out what my favorite summer drink is. I don’t have one. I do like a good sweet tea vodka or Malibu and pineapple juice or some beer but it’s time to branch out.
I like to mix it up too but fruity always wins! They have a Malibu Melon that this would be good with too!
