Is it just me or is this Winter just never ending. As the Winter gets longer it becomes really tough to eat healthy and stay on track. All of the shoveling gets in the way of some workouts. By the end I feel so beaten down by it and want to hibernate. With Spring on the way though it’s time to get back on track and get the nutrition in order. Soon we will be rocking some maxi dresses and I want to be ready for it.
With that means more veggies and more fruit and a lot less processed food. This smoothie is perfect for any meal or snack, have 12 almonds on the side to make it even more filling.

Ingredients: One Handful of Spinach leaves ~ 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt ~ 6-7 strawberries ~ 1 Apple, cubed ~ 7-8 peach slices ~ 1 TBSP Flax Oil ~ 1 cup Water

I wish I was starting out my morning with this smoothie – it looks delicious!!! xo, Biana
It hits the spot and you can get so many nutrients in a smoothie.
this looks DELICIOUS!!!! my husband has been chipping away at me to get a vitamix because our blender is dying. i continue to hold onto it because until that blade stops spinning, it’s still alive. also how can i possible fork out $600 FOR A BLENDER. yes yes it’s a vitatmix and i’m sure it’s amazing but damn, that’s more than my actual gym membership!!
A Vitamix is expensive!! I used my handy dandy $30 blender. 😉
Looks good! I really don’t care for smoothies, but always liked Instant Breakfast.
March is coming in like a lion here- snow at rush hour today turning into rain and
55 tomorrow and then Wednesday night into Thursday maybe 6 inches of heavy snow.
Hot toddys are on tap for this weather LOL.
Love, SMD’s Momma
Yes, being able to take breakfast on the road is nice. Hopefully it turns to rain, it’s better than snow. Hot toddy’s sound fabulous! Enjoy!
I use Shakeology, but I like adding fruit for different flavor combinations, and then nut butters or avocado to assist the fat soluble vitamins. Happy Tuesday!
Yes, the flax oil adds in some healthy fats and aids digestion.
That looks so good! We got a ninja blender off our registry I think that would be a great way to start using it!
Yes,. perfect way to break it in with some great smoothies.
Love me some smoothies…Should probably have this for breakfast or lunch if I’m going to have some chocolate cake for dessert hehe
Haha! Gotta save room for the chocolate cake.
I am not a huge smoothie fan but I want to be. This one looks really good, too.
They are really good and so many flavor combinations plus I can blend and drink on the way to work. Is it a texture thing?
I wish I liked smoothies more. This looks good!
And shoveling is a workout in itself, don’t forget!
It was so good and a great way to sneak veggies in. I totally get it though.
It is a workout, very true.
This sounds delicious. I need to remember to add spinach to my smoothies!!!!
It is a great way to sneak in some extra veggies!
Ooooh yum, I love the strawberry peach combination!! This looks great and I’m always looking to add extra protein into my diet.
I really wanted to use up the peaches in my freezer and it added great flavor.
mmmmmmmm yum. i have never thought about putting an apple in a smoothie, thats a really good idea! i think i need to play around with my normal smoothie receipt (just banana, spinach + berries) and maybe add some peaches because it’s getting kinda boring!
Yes, switch up the fruits and add in some spinach. I’ve used pear before too which was really good, and kiwi.
This sounds amazing! I will definitely be drinking these!
Thanks! I really enjoyed the combo of flavors, hope you do too.
I looove peach flavored things but I’m not a big fan of the texture of peaches so I rarely eat them, BUT I bet I would love them in a smoothie!
Yes, you get all the flavor but not the texture. Win-win!
I like the combination of ingredients you used for this smoothie especially the fresh strawberries. I will have to try flax oil next time!
Fresh strawberries are the best in smoothies. The flax oil really helps digestions and adds some healthy fats.
Mm, I do love strawberries!
I love strawberries in my shakes and smoothies.
All of a sudden I have the biggest peach craving! I usually put some kind of nut butter in my smoothies, but sometimes it is better to let the fruit flavors come through on their own.
Nut butters are so good, and add a little bit more bulk but sometimes it is nice to try something new.
This looks amazing! I’ve recently gotten into making smoothies, and will definitely have to add this to the list 🙂
Thanks! Hope you like it, it really hit the spot!
sounds absolutely delicious! thanks for the inspo!

Oh man this looks yummy!
Thank you. It was yummy and it was light!
It is definitely NOT winter here – come on down 🙂
Don’t tempt me, I just might! I am over the cold and snow!
i’ve been drinking just green smoothies (on blog next week) so i welcome any and all fruit to the mix. peaches are among my faves. no surprise, right?
Fruit adds a really great flavor! That is no surprise at all! 😉
This sounds delicious..I’m so ready to be sipping smoothies by the pool!
I am so ready for that too!
I love how you put it in a fancy glass and the pic looks great! We usually do strawberry and blueberry, but I’ll have to try peach next time.
Thank you! Strawberry and blueberry sounds really good too.
I was on a smoothing making kick for awhile and then just stopped. I need to get back on it, this smoothie looks yummie.
They are yummy and quick to blend up.
