Good Morning! I am feeling a little chipper after my day off, even though it was everything but relaxing. I felt like I ran around all day. There was not a moment of rest at all, but I got done what I needed to, so I guess that is a good thing.
A little while back I was tagged by Lisa from Meanderings, Adventures and Crafty Inspiration. She was assigned as my Little as part of the Bigs and Littles Blogging Network. It has been so nice getting to know her, she has traveled to many far away places and currently in Peru! Consider us all jealous! She tagged my in a post for 6 Things About Me, so I am posting my 6 Things.
Would you prefer a city break or a sun, sea, and sand vacation?
I would prefer a sun, sea , and sand vacation. Parking my butt in a beach chair and not moving for a few days sounds perfect. Think Bermuda, though I would get out and enjoy the water too, parasailing or getting on some jetski’s would be so much fun!
If you could travel to one place in the world, where would it be?
I can’t pick just one but a few on my bucket list and have been a dream of mine to visit for a long time are Greece, Italy, and Australia.
How many countries have you traveled to? How many of the 50 states?
I have only been outside of the US once when i went to Germany. It was really beautiful and had a lot of great castles and interesting food. I love how they are really big on letting dogs go everywhere. There was a lot of dogs in restaurants and in stores. My idea of Utopia! (Though I don’t think Seamus would make the grade – they were really well behaved dogs) I have driven through probably 25-30 of the 50 states but I would like to spend more time in each state in the future. Road trip anyone?
What is your favorite thing about yourself (or quality you like in others if you don’t wanna talk about yourself)?
I think that I have a giving heart. I want to help others whenever I can.
What did you want to be when you grew up and what do you do now?
I think I have wanted to be everything under the sun. A big one for me was a Cop. Though I think I have always been to sensitive for it. If someone gave me a sob story I may just let them go. I also was afraid of becoming to jaded. My major in college started out as Criminal Justice and was looking into being a Forensic Analyst though the blood part got to me.
What is something not a lot of people would know about you?
I almost graduated college in a year and a half. I took so many classes my freshman year because I was so homesick. After talking to my Dad the first trimester of Sophmore year I decided to stick it out, changed my Major and took a lighter course load. I ended up with a Major in Communication and a minor in Sociology. I blame my Dad, he is wicked smart and I guess it rubbed off!
What random fact would I be surprised to learn about you? Share in the comments.

Greece is TOP of my list to visit too! I’ve always wanted to go! I want to go to the beach…now!
Kerry says
I could so get behind going to the beach now!! With a cabana boy and an umbrella drink!
Tori G says
I say you and me…we pack up and head out to Australia, you down?! = )
Kerry says
I am so down for that, mate! 😉

Greece and Italy are on my bucket list too! I graduated in three years and I look back now like why did I want to grow up again??
Kerry says
I know. College was like the best time ever!! I don’t know why I wanted to rush it! Having the summers off. I also managed to only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I had every other day free!! Seriously why did I leave?? This grown up stuff is for the birds!
Lauren says
I would love to go to any of those places! Random fact: I can say my ABCs backwards in three seconds.
Kerry says
Three seconds!! Holy Cow that is fast! I would seriously have trouble doing it in 3 minutes!
SMD @ Life According to Steph says
I’d love to be beaching it right now.
Whoa on your advanced college itinerary!
Kerry says
Me too!! Just being on vacation would be heaven right about now! Yeah, I really loaded up on classes. I tested out of my Math requirements and most of my Spanish classes but otherwise I was taking like 6-7 classes per trimester.

i’im going on vacay tomorrow!! but with this whole government shut down thing (i’m crossing the border to fly out of buffalo) i don’t know how that’s going to work… does it affect border patrol? are they going to be angry at border crossers?
i can’t remember when i graduated from college – it’s been THAT long and i’m THAT old! 🙁
Kerry says
I thought you were going to Florida?? You cross the border, oh right you’re Canadian, eh? Border Patrol and Homeland Security are both considered essential personal so they are still active and working. Shouldn’t be a problem crossing, but if they try and take you to a small room, run and scream FIRE!!!

Fun! I recently added Germany to my wishlist of travel places. I never realized how gorgeous it is. I went to Australia last October, actually. I was working and it was cold at the time so I didn’t get to see many beaches or go in the water. I want to go back but this time to the Northeast.
Kerry says
It really is beautiful! I reminded me a lot of the hillsides of New Hampshire. Ohhh, I am so jealous you went to Australia! We need to band together with other bloggers and get super cheap rates and all go!!
Kate says
Sun, sand and sea for me too! And Greece is number one on my wish list. We should go! 🙂
Kerry says
Packing a bag and leaving it by the door. Let me know when you are ready!!
Helene says
i prefer sun, sea and sand too! i also really want to go to greece!
Kerry says
Greece is just so beautiful. It is for sure a must see trip for me!
Emily T says
I’ve been lucky enough to be able to travel, and let me tell you… you are right on with Greece. The beaches are amazing, the water is crystal clear, and I could go on and on about the food. The ONE problem with Greece is that they aren’t that crazy about dogs. 🙁 (Good thing my husband doesn’t really abide by the traditional Greek norms).
Kerry says
I really want to go! I will be sure and get your feedback once I can afford to go! Wait, what?? Not like dogs! Hmm. Your hubby is one smart man, that it one tradition not to abide by!! Dogs are family!
Sarah says
Go to Greece – but NOT during their Easter holiday like I did! 🙂
Kerry says
Thanks to you, I will remember not to go during a holiday! 🙂
