Coming off a 4 day long weekend it is a little rough even thinking about going back to the daily grind. With the 4th of July coming up it is so easy to get off track with healthy eating, myself included. So for me it is very important to bring a dish to any party that way you know there is at least one dish is healthy for you to eat. Meats can be eaten wrapped in lettuce or without the bun. I saw this recipe for Apple Cabbage Coleslaw and it is a healthier alternative to potato and pasta salad so hopefully you give it a try! The original pin can be found here.
Ingredients:
I’m having a BBQ for the 4th!! Totally going to try this!
It was so yummy and the apple added a bit more crunch! Hope you like it!
That’s an awesome new take on cole slaw! I’m not a fan of it, but my husband is, and I know he’ll want me to whip this up for him.
I am not a fan of it either, I usually give mine away at restaurants but I really liked it. It was a lot lighter and more like just eating veggies with a dip! Hope the hubs likes it!
Yummy! I love coleslaw and this looks refreshing. Thanks for linking up 🙂
It was so light and refreshing! Not too heavy and not so much “dressing” that it was soggy!
