It is my birthday month and I planned to post this like 2 weeks ago but this took a really long time to put together. Normally if I want something I just go out and buy it, if it’s in my budget of course. Waiting is just really not my thing. That makes it harder for people to buy me gifts.
I also don’t really like to draw attention to me getting older but I do have family that may not know what to get me for my birthday so I am trying to make it easy on them. I am such a giver! 😉 So if you have been struggling on what to get me look no further, these are currently items on my wish list.

Typographical Print – I can see this 8×10 in a white matte and black frame. The spot is picked out already. I have never read Harry Potter I just like the quote. *Cue blog world gasps*
Mophie – Thanks to Rachael for mentioning this on her blog because now I want it. My battery is always running low so this battery charging case is perfect. It charges the backup and the phone at the same time, running low press a button and the backup battery takes over. Winning! In white so I can add a decal to the back to spice it up.

Anchor bookends – I am obsessed with anchors lately. I plan on spray painting them in a hammered black finish but the design of the anchor is perfect!
My actual birthday isn’t until August 30th but if you follow Astrology you know I am a Virgo to the core, though I am on the Leo cusp too so some personality traits I find apply too.

I absolutely love those bookends!! I feel like it is so much harder for friends and family to get gifts as we get older, like you said if we want something we buy it lol!! Also you just can’t go wrong with a gift card and I love that scarf!!

I was so surprised to get anything at all. You are so sweet to have gotten me something. It is so hard when you have to mail things because you never know how long it will take especially from Canada so I completely understand. Besides it stands out more since it was my first one!
I always ask for gift cards so I can buy books too, nothing better than a bunch of books someone else paid for! 🙂

Klay’s mom is always asking what to get me for any holiday. And I’m always “Surprise Me”.
I don’t really WANT anything, or NEED anything… and when I do want or need something… I usually just save up and buy it. So, I made a promise to myself this year, to reserve a couple of items for holidays… even though I have to wait longer, at least I’m helping the process.
Anchors are awesome… representing stability, strength, and endurance. Are you going to do a nautical theme room or are you incorporating them around your home for fun?
First I need a new phone, then I need a mobie! HA!
Sometimes it is hard for them to find things so it is helpful to give them a little help. Besides if they don’t get it, you now have a shopping list! 😉 I just have them randomly around my house. I have a big anchor crush.

So funny that you need bake ware for your blog recipes! I was at Ross a few months ago and I was taking a gazillion pics of all the little kitchen gadgets I just HAD to have for Christmas…. oh wait, maybe that was last year… Anyway, I wanted to have little measuring devices, cups, ramekins, bake ware, glasses, etc. I have a couple of the items now but my list was getting a bit long!
