It is my birthday month and I planned to post this like 2 weeks ago but this took a really long time to put together. Normally if I want something I just go out and buy it, if it’s in my budget of course. Waiting is just really not my thing. That makes it harder for people to buy me gifts.
I also don’t really like to draw attention to me getting older but I do have family that may not know what to get me for my birthday so I am trying to make it easy on them. I am such a giver! 😉 So if you have been struggling on what to get me look no further, these are currently items on my wish list.
Disclaimer: If you haven’t noticed I don’t go for the high end things as I would be sure to break it, lose it, or ruin it. Plus I am a girl on a budget. Haha!
Typographical Print – I can see this 8×10 in a white matte and black frame. The spot is picked out already. I have never read Harry Potter I just like the quote. *Cue blog world gasps*
Mophie – Thanks to Rachael for mentioning this on her blog because now I want it. My battery is always running low so this battery charging case is perfect. It charges the backup and the phone at the same time, running low press a button and the backup battery takes over. Winning! In white so I can add a decal to the back to spice it up.
Anchor bookends – I am obsessed with anchors lately. I plan on spray painting them in a hammered black finish but the design of the anchor is perfect!
My actual birthday isn’t until August 30th but if you follow Astrology you know I am a Virgo to the core, though I am on the Leo cusp too so some personality traits I find apply too.
August 23 – September 22
Virgo is the sixth sign of the zodiac, to be exact, and that’s the way Virgos like it: exacting. Those born under this sign are forever the butt of jokes for being so picky and critical (and they can be), but their ‘attention to detail’ is for a reason: to help others. Virgos, more than any other sign, were born to serve, and it gives them great joy. They are also tailor-made for the job, since they are industrious, methodical and . The sense of duty borne by these folks is considerable, and it ensures that they will always work for the greater good.
Virgo is represented by the Virgin, although this association should not be taken literally. Rather, Virgos tend to take on some of the qualities of a Virgin, things like modesty and humanity. Some might consider them repressed, although Virgins would argue that it’s a noble quality, as opposed to a negative one. Most of all, Virgos enjoy indulging their practical and logical side and poring over their projects to the nth degree. To say these folks are good at fact-finding almost understates the case, since Virgos revel in their exacting (some would argue pedantic) behavior and are a whiz with minutiae. Virgins are an in the workplace as they can be counted on to get things right the first time, every time — and no detail will be overlooked. They are also balanced and fair in their assessments in keeping with the Mutable Quality assigned to this sign. For more on Virgo’s or to read your sign click here.
