I am typically not a fan of gift guides because typically they contain things I can not afford. I am a pretty simple person. I am a girl on a budget so I tend to go for items that are unique and cost effective versus high priced. This list is more for people in my family or friends that may not know what to get me for Christmas and hopefully it maybe gives you some ideas for some people in your life too. Win-win.
Mugs: Like this is a surprise. I love mugs and really love just about any mug. Here are a few I wouldn’t mind finding the way to under my tree.

Random Items: Because not everything fit into a category. Is that anchor bottle opener not adorable!

Scarves: If you know me you know that scarves are an obsession of mine. I wear them year round. Heavier wool fleece in the Winter, to light silks in the Summer.

Seven – $28.43 // Eight – $9.99 // Nine – $32.39 // Ten – $28.43
Art: Nothing makes a house feel more like a home than with Art that speaks to you. I love bringing the outdoors in whenever I can. Sayings and word art that makes me think or feel is also a favorite of mine, and can really brighten any day.

Eleven // Twelve // Thirteen // Fourteen
Hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving and gets to spend it with those they love and cherish. Stay warm and safe.
What’s on your wish list?
Would any of these items make it on your list?

This really is the perfect guide for you!! I can only imagine your mug collection!! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
Thank you. Hopefully others find one or two they may want to add as well. It was getting out of control, but the mug rack I made gave me more room! 😉 Happy Thanksgiving!
Those mugs are so fun!! I love that art – not all who wander are lost- just perfect! I am a huge anchor fan as well so I tend to gravitate towards stuff that has an anchor on it. So many meanings for me.
I love walking by one and having it just making it harder to have a bad day. Anchors are so pretty and sturdy, I just love them.
I love the art and I wish scarves were more practical down here. That anchor adventurer mug is soooo cute and very you!
Maybe the lighter silk ones are more practical down there outside of the grueling summer months. Isn’t it so pretty, I just love it?!
Nice list. I love giving perfect gifts. We give money to our married off kids. Always perfect and they look forward to it. A great gift to me is all my chickens together. I adore nice perfume especially if it comes with a giveaway gift !! My Stephanie is excellent at finding nice little gifts for me !! Everyone be safe and sound and grateful! Happy Thanksgiving!
Love, SMD’s Momma
Money is always good. Perfume is always a nice gift, and the gift lotions and things they add are always nice. Hope you have a happy and safe Thanksgiving with all you little chickens! 😉
I love mugs and Im really into art / statement pieces these days. Good affordable guide!
Thank you. I can never turn a mug away. I am all about being budget friendly! 😉
all the scarves and mugs please! lol we are very alike in that regard 🙂 have a great thanksgiving darl!
Yes, I can never have to many of them. 😉 Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
Yes! Give me all the mugs!
I really can’t have too many! 😉
I’ve been looking at mugs too! My problem is my mug is oversized, and it’s hard to find a new one the same size. I think it’s a 20 oz, which are easy to find in the tall ones, but this one is short. I also want it to be sturdy and most seem like the handle will break these days. I need to make my own, lol.
That can be hard. I think there are some ceramic ones on etsy that are smaller but wider. I say you should make your own too, you are very creative.
Love the mugs too! At any given point in time I have 3 beverages around me and I love having cute things to drink out of.
It really isn’t a sickness but I don’t want to be cured! Love them.
My wish list is similar. There’s nothing over the top that I want, it’s all practically stuff that I just won’t buy for myself. Like smart wool socks – they’re amazing, but no way I’m buying $10 socks for myself when I get socks for $1. So I asked my mom for them 🙂
Yes! My lists are always very practical. One year I got a vacuum. Always better when someone else buys things like that. Wool socks is so needs but I hear ya I had paying that much for them.
I love the mugs, the art and the scarves! What a great list and I am with you, I don’t need extravagance and it is only torture to look at lists that are extravagant.
Yes, I always look at some of them saying to myself well I can’t afford anything on that list. Haha!
I have way too many mugs – but I love that purple one!!!
OH AND THE TREE WALL ART! SO COOL – Klay likes them too. He and Emry are peering over my shoulder as I ooh and ahh at this post.
Too many mugs? Is there such a thing? I think not! 😉
Thank you I am glad they approve as well. The tree is just so pretty I can see it as a centerpiece for my stairway gallery wall.
I think I’m in the market for a pie dish too.
Great pics! The anchor bottle opener is adorable.
Pie dishes always come in handy. Give me all the Anchor items!!
I’m into scarves lately, too! I never used to be except for within the past few months. They’re like a comfortable necklace! hahah
They really help keep you warm. My office is like an icebox so it helps.
you already know i want one of each and every mug!! esp that nautical one!
The nautical one is my favorite!
I love that little anchor! I also love mugs, but I’ve forced myself to limit the amount that I have. I keep telling myself less is more. Hah. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
I tried to limit myself then I see a new one. Hehe! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
Scarves are always an excellent gift! You can never have too many 🙂 hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
-Sharon
I wear them a lot this time of year, so you can never have too many! 😉
That second mug is beautiful! This is a really great list! I’ve been focusing more on what I can get others to bring them joy this year, and that’s been really wonderful. But it’s also made me struggle with giving people ideas regarding what to get me. haha.
It can be really hard for people who are out of town to know what to get you. Making it easier for them is nice, plus you get some items you like but don’t want to buy yourself. 😉
I love this list!! Especially that art 🙂
Thank you. Art can really make a home feel special.
I love that list! My favorites are no. 2 and 7..My big scarves are getting worn out!
That mug is pretty amazing! It has been so cold here scarves are getting a lot of use. Hope you are staying warm.
This is a great collection. We have similar tastes. Scarves are a yea-long accessory that can do so much for an outfit. And they’re so chic. I hope you get everything on your list.
Thank you. I am actually wearing a mint plaid blanket scarf! I love them year round too. If I don’t I plan on purchasing them myself eventually. I love them all!
I’m surprised you don’t want a toolbelt!! Not surprised at all by the mugs and scarves.
Thank you! I really appreciate it. Love the fill-in answers.
I’m with you! Most gift guides exceed my price point. I tweeted that everyone kept asking me for gift ideas and I had no idea what to tell them I wanted. A few told me to check out gift guides. Um, no. I’m sorry, but I feel like a total brat asking people for the items on 90% of gift guides because they’re all $50+! I’m not the only one my family is buying for, gifts add up quickly, and that seems so rude! A lot of them are makeup ones too and I’m cheap. I’m a drugstore gal so they don’t help me. There are cute clothes and boots on some, but again, I’m not asking for a $100 item!
Which is why I love you gift guide. You should have added “inexpensive” into your title to attract more people!
Thank you! I am the same way. I am not about to put anything in a gift guide that I wouldn’t buy myself. I know people have other people to buy for, and asking for expensive things just isn’t me. I am a total drugstore makeup girl too!
