This weekend I got to enjoy spending time with my family so it was a win. It was a small family reunion with my cousins and my Aunt held at my brother’s house. The girls got to have fun and play together while the adults got to catch up. My brother and sister-in-law cooked some amazing food on the grill.

I also help a stray pit bull who happened to find it’s way to my brother’s driveway. I walked it a couple of house down to return it back home. Good dead done for the day. It was an all day event since I left home at 1pm and I didn’t really get home until 7:30pm so it was an early night for me. After taking Seamus for a walk I read for a bit before heading to bed.
Sunday was a really lazy day. I wasn’t feeling all that well and in between walks with Seamus and grocery shopping I took two naps. I also read a lot since I didn’t feel like moving much but it was really good so I didn’t mind.
After trying out some new recipes it was a blogging kinda night while watching Witches of East End. Here’s to hoping this week goes by quickly since I finally have a whole weekend at home next weekend.

They are just so easy going and smiley. They melt my heart. Haha! I am with you, a hammock is a must, though space might be an issue.

I am feeling better, thank you. They are so cute but it is a struggle to get them both to smile so I was glad to finally get a pic with them both smiling.

It was really cute. I mentioned it before but just finally finished it. The hammock was so comfy and it was perfect weather for it.

I know, I feel as if I have forgotten as well. A lot of naps, cleaning, and reading will hopefully happen. I need to dig into each room. So much travel and summer plans I am exhausted! The end is in sight, hold on a little longer!

Weekends at home are amazing but it’s also great to visit with family and it looks like you had a good time.
I think volunteering at the shelter helped because I am much more aware of how to approach a dog and walking over a 100 different pits got rid of any ideas I had that they are all mostly friendly. This one was ready to run until I called him back and then he rolled over so I knew he was a softie!
I am looking forward to a weekend of nothing soon enough. My house needs some TLC. 😉

The girls are so cute! I love how close you are with your family and that you get to see them so often. I don’t get to see mine that often so I have gained a greater appreciation for when I do and love seeing families that get to spend a lot of time together.
Thank you. Yes I am only 30-45 minutes away so I can always drop by when needed. When I went away to college I vowed to stay close by once I graduated but I was lucky, sometimes life makes those choices for you and takes you farther away. Just cherish the moments you do get.
