Happy Friday! I kjnow it was a short week for me since I had Monday and Tuesday off but the days have been jammed packed with a ton of errands. It was crazy and I didn’t get much rest. The good news is the temps are in the 40’s so hopefully some of the snow will melt. Tomorrow is my Dad’s birthday so I should be heading back to the South Shore to celebrate. So it is looking to be another busy weekend. Well let’s get to it then, you know the drill my five things for the week.
One. With the snow and the freezing temps came the ice. With the heavy ice comes damage. I came home yesterday from work to see our front gutter pulled down due to the weight of the ice. When it rains it pours.

Three. I am waiting for the insurance money to come in to start the repairs on my half bath and basement. In the meantime I am working on looking for ideas on what I want to put back into the rooms. This is my inspiration for my half bath. The vanity will be the one I picked a week or two ago.

Four. This one is being dedicated to my Dad. My hero, my rock, my example of honor strength and character. He turns 66 on Saturday. I’ll be headed down to my Brother’s for dinner to celebrate with him. He knew how to rock the powder blue suits. Love you Dad!
Five. This could be my motto for my life.

Kerry… OMG! 🙁 Now your gutter good grief. I hate this for you. What’s the latest on the bathroom? I am glad the temps are at least getting a little higher. Thank you. Luckily the condo account will pay for the repair so no extra money out of my pocket. I am waiting on the insurance to pay out so I can start the repair. I am hoping the warmer temps will melt most of the snow this weekend. Thank you girl, glad you like it! 🙂
I am SO sorry about your gutter damage. That’s just such a pain in the butt. As if the snow and ice aren’t bad enough–let’s add damage to it. Again, I’m sorry. I LOVE all of those mugs. I’ve got a weird love for mugs though–seems like maybe you do too? That print says it just right. I’ve been working really hard on that this year–making life actually FEEL good and not just “look” good. In fact, I think now it’s the opposite–our life here FEELS better than it looks. We worked hard to start refocusing this year, and I think it worked. Happy Friday!! And Happy Birthday to your dad!!!

Isn’t it so funny seeing them in those suits! It was such the style back then. Yellow is my favorite color so it was perfect for me.

Thanks, it’s so bright and cheery! I am so over the snow and ice. Hopefully it will melt over the weekend! We have a condo account so the money is already in the budget for repairs so it will cover it, thankfully.
