The first full week after a nine day vacation was brutal, the time seemed to go so slow even though it was really busy. I have to say this weekend is going to busy since I have a ton of cleaning to get done, a DIY project to tackle and some more wall art to hang up. It’s looking to be really productive. NOw on to the favorites so we can get this show on the road:

yes to that kitchen! i love it. i remember years ago when we bought our house, i was all yuck, white cupboards?! gimmie all the dark, modern looks!! and now that i’m older, i dont like my dark kitchen and want to gut it!
Yes, I have been thinking of going darker on the cabinets but I kinda love the white. I have white tile on the backsplash and floor that I want to rip out so it won’t be so bad going white on the cabinets once that is done.

Haha! It was a little naughty. Yes I have the fiery latin temper at times that I need to keep in check but it slips out at times. Luckily I don’t stay mad for long. All the bacon!

I loooove cup pulls and want to add those to our kitchen one day. I also love the wood floor but would worry about damaging it. Do you think it’s that wood tile? The trash thing is also genius. This week has been soooo l-o-n-g at least the weekend is almost here!
I love the look of them. I think with a coat of polyurethane they would be good to go. I think it is most likely real wood, but a wood tile works too. I have seen a DIY for wood grained looking cement that was on a porch. Woohoo, weekend here we come!

When we first got Johnny Cakes our bathroom garbage was on the counter because he’d always have paper parties. Finally wised up and got one with a lid/lever. I wish we had more room for something where it could be hidden – especially in the bathroom!!
It is so different and I love that it is on an angle. You could probably just build a box and put the lid on the top so it basically is just a box over the trash.
