Happy Friday!! It has been a long week but mostly because it’s been busy. It has been positive though and I got lots of compliments and validation at work which was much appreciated. I am ready for the weekend though. So let’s bring on the favorites!!
Favorite DIY: I still have some renovations to do in my kitchen and this is something like I want to do in my kitchen minus the chalkboard paint.

Favorite Outfit: It’s still technically Winter here and cold so I wouldn’t mind this sweater, and for under $20!

This seriously made me laugh so hard.

Truth!

Talk about underachievers!!

What are your plans for the weekend?
Also linking up with Natasha for 5 on Friday.
That chicken wrap does look incredibly delicious and cheesy…two of my favorite things!! I think that wood DIY would look great, I love when things are open! Hope you have a great weekend! xo, Biana
It looks delicious! Yes, and imagine the mugs I could display on those shelves! Haha!
speaking of shelving and DIY, i was just looking at the spot above my toilet and wondering when i’ll be able to get some floating shelves to put up there for more storage. time to look for some sales at ikea!
also – no linky for the sweater! where did you see it? i buy all my winter stuff after winter because i’m too cheap to pay full price LOL
Floating shelves are so pretty, you can always make your husband build some! 😉
i want a coffee bar too!! you need a place to display your mugs!! that would look awesome. now i’m going to make a cup! have a great weekend.
It would make a great visual display for the mugs! Have a great weekend!
I love that coffee bar and I’m happy that you had such a great week! Sometimes a little recognition is all you need to push forward. Have a great weekend!
It’s always nice to get a little recognition. Have a great weekend.
Seriously, where is real life Batman?
I love the coffee set up up there.
TGIF! Happy weekend my friend!
It seems like someone should have figured it out by now! Haha! I have been wanting extra counter space and planned on adding some during the renovations so it is great inspirations. Have a great weekend!
Those kitchen shelves are amazing and that sweater looks super cozy!!
I love the richness of the wood stain. I would live in that sweater at least until it starts to warm up.
I love that kitchen!! I would love a coffee bar in my house. That wrap looks so good. I feel like we are going to be wearing sweaters until June. It’s so cold!!
I really need more counter space in my kitchen so it’s perfect! I totally have a sweater on today! Brrr
oh my gosh – that batman one, hilarious!
love the coffee bar diy – i want to put some shelves like that in my kitchen, but not with a bar or anything underneath, just for storage and stuff. we’ll see if i ever do!
glad you had such a good week at work – hope you have a great weekend!
Someone needs to get on being batman! Such a shame it hasn’t happened already! I don’t necessarily want a coffee bar but extra cabinets and counter space are much needed. The shelves are perfect for displaying cute mugs, or trifle bowls and pie stands.
YAY for the compliments at work…that’s always the best 🙂 And I’m loving the DIY and the plot twist! 🙂
It was so nice to hear, and good to be recognized. I tend to stay under the radar. The Plot Twist makes me giggle, I can totally see myself yelling it out loud!
I love the chalk board look, I keep thinking I should do it to something but I’m never sure what.
What about the inside of a cabinet, or over an old mirror.
Amen to the sarcasm! I love the kitchen shelving. I also love the idea of the chalkboard paint but unless I had chalk board markers the dust would be obnoxious in a kitchen, I don’t have cute handwriting, & I would stop changing the words probably after a week or 2 lol.
I love that it is not the typical top cabinets but wood. Yes, I am not a fan of the chalkboard, my handwriting is very messy being a lefty.
I want stainless steel counter tops. Love that clean look. Maybe in my next home! Have a great weekend!
It looks so clean but all so much storage. It would work perfect in my kitchen! Have a great weekend!!
Yay for a good week- so happy you’ve had a good work week, sometimes being validated for how hard you work can mean so much! Loving that quote, it made me smile and I’m definitely going to keep it in mind the next time things don’t quite go the way I had hoped.
It really mean a lot and was much needed. You can’t really be down if you shout it loud and walk away right?!
That Southwest Chicken wraps looks great! Both Mike and I would love it! Also, that coffee bar is my DREAM. Have a great weekend!
I might just have to make it this weekend! I love the extra cabinets and counter space but all the open shelf space too. Hope you have a great weekend!
I want to do chalkboard paint in my kitchen. It’s on the spring project list.
And seriously, how is no one Batman? Slackers.
It is perfect for menu planning or shopping lists. Looking forward to seeing how yours comes out. Unlimited funds and nothing??? Total slackers!
Love the “plot twist” quote!! lol 🙂 That wrap looks delish! Have a wonderful weekend, Kerry!
It’s the perfect way to not feel bad about a wrong turn. It has so many bold flavors. Yum! Have a great weekend!
HaHa – I love the idea of hollering “plot twist” when something goes wrong!!!
That coffee bar is awesome – I’m trying to decide how I could fit that in at our venue.
Plot Twist!! Sounds much better than oh, crap. 😉 I really need the added space so it would be perfect in my kitchen. Now to make it happen!
Oo that chicken wrap does look tasty!
I’d need a Diet Coke bar, as I don’t drink coffee. But I do drink a lot of Diet Coke.
I want one now! Diet coke would be a good idea, I can get behind that idea too!
Haha the dog meme! Yay for the work validation – I’m sure it was greatly deserved 🙂
Thank you. It was much needed!
I love the style of that grey sweater! Hoping it warms up for you soon. Our weather keeps going from warm to cold front. Hope you have a great weekend girlie!
It looks so warm, though we may not need it now! Warming up quickly! 🙂
I love love love that kitchen!!!!! So pretty! I had to laugh at the water sprinklers! And that recipe looks fabulous! Have a great weekend!
It is so pretty, hopefully when i finally get around to my kitchen renovation I can add something similar. Hope you had a great weekend!
Hope you’re surviving up there! Enjoy your weekend 🙂
It hasn’t been bad, and it’s finally starting to melt! Woohoo!
LOL at the Batman one. Seriously. Get on it, billionaires.
Right?! Like what are they waiting for, the toys and cars alone!!
That dog is hilarious! The wrap looks absolutely AHmazing!!
Dogs and water! Too funny! It looks amazing, I need to make it asap!
That chicken wrap looks divine!! haha AND no joke … I always wondered why no multi millionaires ever tried to do a Bruce Wayne / Tony Stark … haha wouldn’t that make life more fabulous!
Right?! Like get on it already. All the cool gadgets and everything are a bonus.
I need the names/addresses of the MALE billionaires, please!
Ummm you gotta man, hook a sister up! 😉
