This week seemed to be really long and went by a little too slowly. I had a rough day yesterday due to a big project that happened last minute, so I had to drop everything to finish it, working through lunch (a few bites here and there of a wrap) and having issues right at the end stressing me out. It did get done though so all was good in the end. I am looking forward to this weekend and my remote car starter is finally getting installed. i will be stranded for four hours but luckily there is a bookstore with a starbucks so I will catch up with blogging and knitting projects. Woohoo! So to kick this Friday off I am sharing my five things, le duh! 😉
One. Working in Government Contracts I am constantly having to change my passwords with the most random requirements but this would be perfect if I could do it.
Two. If you haven’t seen it already I joined up for the Blogger Book Club to review The Husband’s Secret. Read my review here.
Three. The greatest gift I can ever hope for is making someone else happy. Whether it’s with a smile or holding the door. Then one of my best friends sends me a meme with “so you” in the message and it melts my heart. Mostly because it means I made a difference in how they see me, but also how I may affect the world. Love you Lynnie!
Four. Are you getting fit this year? Are you following @Shonda1020 on Instagram? She is amazing and shares so many fitness videos, clean recipes and inspiration. We even took it to Twitter this past weekend and she is funny! She went from 203 pounds to fiercely fit! She shared this workout that I really want to try this weekend.
Five. Considering the Super Bowl is this weekend I thought this was appropriate. Who is bringing the munchies?
Hope your Friday goes quickly!
I’ll have to look into that book because I’m a reading fiend! Happy Friday, pretty girl!
Me too! The ending was a little odd but it was a quick read. Happy Friday! Get packing! 😉
bahahahahah! password = incorrect. i love geek humour. i read this meme that said “i’m going to rename my hard drive to “that azz” so my computer can tell me it’s time to “back ‘that azz’ up”. hahahahahaha!!!
It would help to remember my passwordit?! Haha! I love it back that azz up!
happy friday!! I love the password thing haha I hate changing mine i always
forget!!
Yes, I eventually just started a spreadsheet because they change so frequently and have to be so random.
hahahah on the super bowl pic. Funny.
Happy Friday!
Happy Friday! It made me chuckle for sure!
Thanks for the workout inspiration! And I loved The Husband’s Secret!
Very welcome! It was a good book, not sure I liked the ending but still good overall.
I’m going to follow Shonda now…I need that kinda inspiration!
She is really great and has lots of videos, for different exercises. Very motivational!
I got the book to read on vacation and I can’t wait! I’ve loved reading everyone’s reviews and wish I started it earlier. I hate having to constantly change my passwords because I just have way too many to remember at work!
You will have to let me know your thoughts on it when you finish. Me too, I have to keep a spreadsheet. Why must it be upper case, lower case, special characters, 15 letters long….blood type etc. Haha!
Happy Friday, my friend!!! Hope you have a great weekend!
Happy Friday!! Same to you, girlie!
I LOVE that 3rd quote. SO SO SO SO MUCH. Amen!
Thank you. It is so powerful. Hope you have an amazing weekend!
haha that super bowl one and the password one, yes!! haha love it!
They are both a little too true! Haha!
After watching that movie I wondered if google could track how many people changed their password to incorrect! So funny! Have a great weekend lady!
That would have been funny if they could. Probably lead to the biggest hacker scam though. Have a great weekend!
Sorry for the rough week but an excuse to just sit for a few hours sounds delightful and may be just what you need! I have too many darn passwords and I can never keep them straight, arg! I get so mad when I have to change them for no real reason!
Yes, I am hoping it will allow me to get caught up! My memory is bad enough I don’t need to be changing it every 30 days! Craziness! Haha!
I actually just finished The Husband’s Secret. I really enjoyed it!
I liked it, I had a hard time with the ending but it was overall a good book.
LMAO!! “Superbowl”, that is so funny. If you do that workout, wear your Polar. I’d love to see the calories that workout burns! oxoxo
I plan on doing it tomorrow and I will totally wear my Polar to get a calorie read on it.
I still crack up at that superbowl pic.
Haha! It does make you think! 🙂
I already told you about how I’ve bragged about you and the good things you do for others. 🙂
You are too kind but that’s why I kinda like you!
OMG I just died laughing at that last image from Austin Powers!!! “Superbowl” hahahah
Makes sense, huh?! Haha! 😉
Doing what you can to bring joy into other people’s lives is a great way to live–I think you do a good job of that!
Thank you so much! That is such a great compliment.
The “superbowl” thing is great! What a find! I dangerously have a paper with all my passwords listed on it because I just can’t remember all the different random and forced variations. I keep it hidden though so no one steals my identity and/or takes everything I own.
It is hard because there are so many. I have an app that encrypts your passwords but for work I have an excel spreadsheet because there is just too many.
LOL… I HATE having to change passwords and I went through a whole identity update with apple and google this week. SO frustrating to have to keep updating this stuff!!!
xo
Oh no! That is not good. It is hard when it changes so frequently.
Haha, I shared the legalized pot image with my dad. “Super Bowl” Perfect!
Wasn’t it too funny?! It really made me laugh when i saw it.
Happy weekending!
Thank you. Hope you are having a great weekend!
Okay, that password meme is too funny! I work at a doctor’s office, so we have to change all of our passwords all the time, too, so I’m always struggling to remember them. That would be too perfect!
Haha! Yeah I have to keep an Excel spreadsheet since I have over 20-30 sites I have passwords for and they are all unique and change ever 30-60 days. Craziness.
That super bowl thing is funny! Using the Dr. Evil character was perfect. I work for the government so I feel your pain on the bizarre password requirements. =)
Isn’t it horrible. The passwords change so frequently too.
