After the last five or six days off for babysitting and Labor Day weekend I am feeling a little like this:
So it’s back to clean eating to get rid of some of the bloat from the weekend. It is the same as how I have been eating just getting back to it. There is going to be no cheating at all!!! I feel gross and I need to get back to the routine of clean eating.
Breakfast: My normal shake of Protein powder, 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries, 1/4 cup of almond milk, 12-18 ounces of water, 1 TBSP of Natural peanut butter.
Snack: One cup of grapes and 5 pre-sliced cheese slices.
Lunch: Salad with 1/4 cup red onion, 1/4 cup of tomatoes, 1 oz of feta cheese and 1/2 can of tuna.
Dinner: 3/4 cup of egg whites, 1 egg and 1 whole cucumber.
Who is with me and want to re-commit to healthy eating? I would love to support each other!

isn’t it weird how, after you have cleaned up your diet and you eat some of the old stuff you used to, you feel like absolute shit? that just shows how some foods are horrible for you!

Thanks!! I try not too but a few slip ups happen. I always feel like crap when I don’t eat clean. Makes me so tired and cranky! You always motivate me though!

I’m glad I\m not the only one who eats a whole cucumber in a sitting. I tell my friends that I do that and they are utterly shocked lol.

They are so good and low in calories. The perfect way to fill you up. i am totally with you on cucumbers!! 🙂

I totally blew it over the long weekend. Was with my in-laws who made homemade ice cream…I just couldn’t resist! Plus we were traveling (18 hours in the car…ugh). We tried to stick to Subway and fruit snacks that I brought from home but you know every now and then KFC just calls my name! HA. I’ve been focused on cleaning up my meals since we got back. I agree – I hate how gross I feel after eating crap. Seems like the older I get the harder it is to stay on track though. Anyhow, your meals look fabulously clean and delish! Traveling and vacations are really tough. I try to bring healthy stuff when I can but sometimes you need to cut yourself some slack! I try to find the healthiest alternatives when possible. If I do indulge I try and get back to healthy eating as soon as possible otherwise you may never get back to it! 🙂 We find more excuses as we get older myself included but I try to remember to tell myself NO, when it asks for onion rings! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t! 😉
