I want to say I remember everything about Christmas as a kid, but I remember more the feeling. Waking up and grabbing my stocking then going back to my bedroom to play for the games or whatever we got in the stocking. Then we got to open presents when it was actually a decent hour. For some reason my Dad didn’t consider 5 am decent, though that is when I now get up for work. (Picture me doing the Rock eyebrow raise)
My Dad is really big on Christmas, he really is a big kid about it. We always got a lot of electronics and he has to have a list with visuals so he knows exactly what we want. No clothes for us, he is a guy after all. Here are some of my favorite Christmas memories. Don’t mind the horrible picture quality. I am so old the digital camera wasn’t invented when I was young.
All the missing teeth, my goodness. Barbie Home and Office really what was I thinking?! Who wants to work when they play??
Do I not look entertained?! Those knee socks are super sexy too. 😉
Seriously excited about getting a kitchen. This was one of my favorite gifts. Don’t overlook those footy pj’s. I wore those a lot.
From the haircut to the smile I was totally digging on the Strawberry Shortcake with stroller.
My little pony Pretty Parlor because they had to look their best! Duh?!
Seriously those dimples! Not much has changed.
This was our tree one year! Like I said my Dad is a kid at Christmas. You won’t hear me complaining though.
What are some of your childhood favorite gifts or memories?

and my little pony is HUGE again. my daughter is all over that shit.
as for the camera – dude – in my day, you had to LOAD INDIVIDUAL FLASH BULBS on the cameras and manually forward the reel haha! how times have changed.
Thanks!! My Little Pony was my favorite toy. Oh my god I totally remember that, they came packaged individually and you put a new one on every time. Now I feel old! 🙁

Those pictures are SO cute!!!
Thanks girl! Oh to be young again!
Barbie’s computer was pretty cool, you have to admit! Love all of your Christmas pics! I wanted a pink Cinderella watch so badly as a kid and Santa brought it to me and I was thrilled… even though it wasn’t digital and I wasn’t good at telling time yet!
I totally wanted all things Barbie! I had a Barbie shower too. A Cinderella watch sounds awesome! The things we wanted is just so funny to look back on.
i remember the feeling too, best day of the year! I would get excited over a barbie home and office too!
Absolutely! I miss getting stockings though. I miss that home and office. Oh if only I knew what working was back them! Haha!

Strawberry Shortcake was my jam, until one year I got sick of them and buried them all in the sand at the beach and left them there.
You just left them?! Sad face! I was kinda like that with Barbie though.
you were (and are) so freakin cute! also, I love barbies…like a lot
Thanks, girl! Barbies were the best things ever! Ken and skipper too. I remember having the pink car and thinking it was the coolest thing ever!

That is so awesome! These pictures are really great, too. I can’t wait to take Michael to visit my family in Cali this Christmas season and look through more old pictures together. I love that your dad celebrated Christmas big – it makes for so many special memories and feelings when you grow up. Thanks for sharing a peek into your Christmases past!
Thank you! It is so fun looking at old pictures, though it can be a little embarrassing at times. Oh the fashion! The brown paneling. Haha! Christmas will always be a magical time thanks to my Dad.
