Well another weekend gone and other week begins. Only one and a half weeks till Christmas, can you believe it?! My goals for this weekend was to deal with Comcast, I made the switch to save money. I also wanted to get all the gifts I needed to mail wrapped and sent. This was a success and I couldn’t be more relieved.
Highlights from the weekend:
~ The boxes all put together and ready to go.
~ While out getting a few more ingredients I listened to my coffee mug and gave to the local pantry at the grocery store
~ Saturday night Kate and Joe had a housewarming party. Their place is so cute and she even has a reading nook. Jealous.
~ This is batch 2 of my trips to the post office. Saturday it was packed but Sunday the line was really short. I didn’t know they were open on Sundays but they are through the holidays.
~ This book is due in 2 days so I am trying to finish it up. So far I am really liking it, though it has mixed reviews on Goodreads.
Odds and Ends: They’ve got some good deals right now at Old Navy, but do NOT go in if you are trying to save money!! The stores around my town are INSANELY busy!! I am hopefully all done shopping and can stay away from them until after Christmas, the lines have been so long.

omg the stores at the mall..i can’t even handle it. 99.9% of my shopping was done online because the crowds and lineups give me rage.
It is insane. My town has so many strip malls and stores, plus the mall and it was so packed everywhere. That kind of craziness makes me want to turn around and go home. Luckily I am all done.
Such a fun weekend and I have to say I’m with you…staying away from the stores…that is after today because I have one more thing left to buy lol!! Hope you have a great Monday!
Yes, the stores are just getting crazy. Haha! I still have to get a gag gift for work but I most likely will get it somewhere random without the crowds. Happy Monday!

I am lucky enough to be able to shop during the week with less crowds. I need to bake and buy and make stuff for Xmas dinner and to take to Xmas eve, too. Attending our little Riley’s kid writing this Wednesday and then her holiday party next Tuesday, as they only had one other parent volunteer!

Yes, that sounds so much easier, the crowds can be rough. Oh boy, that is awesome of you to volunteer. I am sure they appreciate it. I luckily don’t have to cook for the actual days of the holiday because I am all baked out! 😉

I am really liking it so far. It is dangerous, so many good sales but you end up spending way more than you want too! Buy all the things!!

I will stay far away from Old Navy because I have a tendency to shop for myself very easily. So glad you got to come on Saturday despite the long drive!!

I read that book! I really liked it. My favorite of her books is Me Before You though.
I am trying to get them out of the house so I don’t eat anymore! I really liked the first half and just begun the second half. Hopefully i can finish before I have to return it to the library.

So much less stressful when it is done early. The crowds seem really bad this year. I mean if you want to spend all your money then Old Navy is a good bet, but if you are trying to be good, then steer clear. 😉

It was busy but I am glad it is done because next weekend I can sit back and enjoy! It is dangerous to go anywhere near Old Navy, run, run away!!! Haha! So much good stuff and so many sales.

All the people at the malls make me want to never leave my house. Again. Love that you got to see Kate’s place and a reading nook?! So cool! I was in, out and back home from the post office in 15 minutes when I went on Saturday. Mom went today and had to wait in line for 15 minutes alone! Crazy. Thanks for more pics of Seamus!

Almost done shopping! I bought some Pillsbury cinnamon rolls to make next weekend and my grandma wants me to make that peanut butter pie but that is it for my baking. LOL
