Is it really Monday? I feel like this weekend flew by. I got a lot done. A little bit of work, a little bit of fun, and a lit bit of housework. So let’s get to it…
Friday: I had 2 days to hurry up and read the Husband’s Secret in order to finish before it was due back at the library but instead I re-designed my blog, duh?! What do you think? I am loving it. It really helped fix some of the issues that I was having with my previous design. I did read a little bit before and after it was done.
Saturday: After a few chores in the morning. I got ready for a lunch date with my friend Debi who I used to work with at a past company. A little selfie was necessary. It also started to snow while I was driving to the restaurant. We went to P.F. Chang’s at Legacy Place. It had been way too long since we saw each other and it was so good to catch up. I was such a bad blogger and didn’t really take many pictures. We split the Chicken lettuce wraps and Crispy Green beans. For our entree we split the Sweet and Sour Chicken with brown rice and for dessert we had the Banana Spring Rolls.
After talking for like 3 hours it was time to go. Since I was at the shopping plaza I just had to stop in to the Victoria’s Secret store. I mean I really need some new bras and underwear to go with my new clothes and I had a $20 off coupon and they were having a sale. The bra I got was only $14.00 which is unheard of for VS. It really is an addiction and I am putting myself on a freeze with them for at least 6 months. Pinky promise.
After that I headed home and took Seamus for a walk, then spent the night reading a bit more and then taking a break to watch the movie Prisoners. The ending was not what I thought it would be but it was still a really good movie.
Sunday: I started the morning with some coffee and finished the book around 10 am. After some lunch and some cleaning I headed out to the library to return some books, then I completed my second Random Act of Kindness. It was so amazing and they were really appreciative. I was almost in tears when I got back to my car. I was so nervous too but it was amazing!
After I left there I went grocery shopping which was a zoo. I even let a guy go ahead of me in line since he only had 1 item so really I did 2 RAC’s in one day! 😉
I got home, put my groceries away and then took Seamus for a walk. I worked on a recipe that I will be sharing tomorrow and watched the Patriots suck wind. I spent the rest of the night vegging out on the couch, watching TV and wasting time on the internet, you know the usual.

VS stuff is so expensive it’s ridonculous!!! and whenever they have sales, my size is NEVER there so i’ve resigned myself to regular boring looking underpants 🙁
It is but it was 5 for $20 so it wasn’t bad and I had a coupon. Normally everything is picked over and there are no sizes available but this store was in an outlet not a mall, so it was surprising really well stocked. I lucked out. Though I totally know what you mean.
Mmm all the PF Chang’s food looks so yummy! $14 for a bra is a really good deal at VS. All the stores were having major sales this weekend!

It was so good. It is almost unheard of to get a bra that cheap there so I had to snag it, right?! Or at least that is what I am telling myself! Haha! Hope you scored some good deals too!

i love changs! almosttttt went there yesterday. i’m not a huge fan of VS, i don’t have the best luck there and it’s too expensive for things i don’t feel fit me right. my body is weird i guess haha. i do like their sweatshirts at vspink though!!

The food was so good at Chang’s! It had been awhile since I’ve been there. I usually get a lot of the same things but they are hit or miss on some of their tops. I only buy their sale or clearance stuff or it gets really expensive. It was so depressing watching that game.

I’m not a Vicky’s fan. I refuse to spend so much on a bra when I hate wearing bras. They don’t fit me well either.

I know normally my bras come from Target but $14 was a steal. They were so good and had a little caramel mixed in. The design was perfect since I could still keep some elements and color scheme and it was pretty easy to install too.
Bahahaha I knew as soon as you said that on instagram that you’d be back in VS in no time!! Seriously though, it’s addicting. I can’t stop. I’m on their highest level with their credit card – they send me a Christmas gift. I should be embarrassed by that, but I’m totally not.
Seamus in the snow is so cute! Hawkeye won’t walk in it, she’s got that ‘the shit is this?!’ face and tries to climb my legs so I’ll carry her.
It is so addicting! Me too!! I joke because I have the VIP black card, like P. Diddy! The amount of coupons and emails with discounts is outrageous so it’s hard to say no.
Haha! That is too funny, poor Hawkeye! Seamus tolerates it until it is taller than him then he gets all pissy and makes me shovel a path for him. I hate it since his hair gets all out of control puffy and curly and he hates to be brushed. Little dog problems!!
Lucky me I don’t have to be a VS addict, my husband holds that title! 😀 And because it was our anniversary Friday he gifted me with lots of goodies from VS. I’m wearing my super comfy VS Sleepover pi’s right now. 😀

Ooooof I’ve put myself on a spending freeze for the time being, but I’m obsessed with VS! I’m going to miss having no tax in NH because it makes justifying my addiction worthwhile haha
I am supposed to be on a spending freeze but I totally failed! Haha! Tax free NH makes it so much easier to justify. I love shopping in Nashua when I visit my best friend because of the tax savings.

It really is a struggle to not buy anything from there, but I have to cut myself off. It usually goes in stages with me though. I buy a lot then nothing for awhile. Me too!! As if I need anything else, right?! Haha!

They have the best discounts and rewards. I have the black VIP credit card (I have had a VS card for like 15 years) so like everyday I get some new sale or reward code, it is SO.HARD.TO.RESIST!!! Haha! Monday really needs to go away! Three day weekends for all!!

I will be filling you in later! It was delivering coffee but that is all I am saying until Thursday! 🙂 It was good. It was a little weird in that it wasn’t a happy go lucky book and the ending was kinda interesting. I am still trying to figure out how I feel about it so I can write a review but I do think it is worth a read.

Thank you. I actually got it through a designer on Etsy. I just did the install and a few tweaks. I had been looking forever for a design I liked, so glad I found it. The crispy green beans were so good, and the sauce it came with, heaven! I really do, I am going to try and not buy anything at least until the summer. It is an obsession.
I think you are doing enough shopping at VS for the rest of us! I always have trouble finding my size there & since we are trying to save right now I haven’t even stepped foot in the store.
I know right?! It’s a problem! I am supposed to be on a spending freeze. Though with everything including the coupon and the sale, I only spent 23 dollars and change. Score!

It was so good and they were small so the calorie count had to be small, right?! No?! Yeah I didn’t think so either! Haha! It was really interesting it was a little bit of a downer, which you know me, but it was realistic and believable. A lot of intersecting plot lines. Worth a read for sure!
I’m definitely an addict when it comes to VS! Look at all that snow. Sometimes I get jealous that we don’t get any but then I remember we have the beach and don’t have to drive in it! I love the new look of the blog your sidebar is totally rocking it!

I can’t really tell how I feel about it. It was really a grey area kinda book and I felt bad for everyone. It is not my normal type of book since it was a little bit of a downer, but I totally think it was worth the read. Thank you, the design was exactly what I was looking for while still keeping some of my own elements.
I rarely buy anything at VS but they send me a coupon for a free panty every month, no purchase necessary. haha I take them up on their offer;)

I would be a VS addict if our pocketbooks could handle it. My bridesmaids spoiled me with my wedding, so I’ve just been taking the worlds best care of those for now. 🙂
I also adore PF Chang’s!! They have a great GF menu and a GF kitchen so there is NO cross-contamination! YAY for being able to eat out on special occasions without any worry of getting sick!!!! haha. P.S. I’ve worked your “going GF” blog post suggestion in to a 6 part (haha) series around March. You planted a seed that just kept growing!
I really only shop there when they have a sale or like 60-70% off clearance. They can get a little pricey! They had some many healthy options, I was surprised but pleased. That is so cool! I am really excited to read it since I have been trying to go more Gluten Free lately.
