Well Y’all know what time it is right! It is Friday and it is glorious! Another week has come and gone. It has been a hectic one as I imagine this whole month with be, but I do have a few days off coming to look forward to. Well it’s time to recap the week with 5 things I am loving, doing, watching, reading. Pretty much anything because heck it’s my blog! 😉
One. I think I may the last person on earth to get a Keurig but I finally got one this week! Thanks goes to Kristin from Hopelessly Ever After for giving me a 50% off code to use.
Two. I am going apple picking this weekend with one of my besties so on the menu to bake is this little scrumptious ditty.
Three. I mentioned this already but I had my first cake decorating class on Tuesday and it was so much fun. I have practiced making at least 5 roses per day since the class. I have cakes to bake and frosting to mix before my next class so that will be my day on Sunday.
Four. This one gets me every time.
Five. I finished Then Came You by Jennier Weiner and am now reading What Southern Women Know (That Ever Woman Should) by Ronda Rich. I am only on page 32 but I am already loving it. I will soon be a Southern Belle *chuckling* in a very ladylike manner. (Okay even I can’t keep a straight face on that one but it’s worth a try).
Well that’s all I have for you this week. Go party your little socks off, it’s Friday!!!

Show me your ways, girl!!
I am learning so many tricks of the trade. Like squeezing an insult in between three positive things. Very eye opening to the Southern ways. I think it should be taught to every girl in elementary school!!

Those roses look perfect and delicious, and that apple bread looks soooo good. G and I have been eating at least two apples/day. I’m buying Honeycrisps by the bag. They’re SO yummy this time of year! I didn’t become 100% addicted to coffee until we got our Keurig. You will love it! My favorite K-cups are the ones from Target. Pumpkin spice and kona blend are great!
Kerry says
I love Honeycrisps and Pink Ladies, so yummy! Thank you, I am practicing everyday so hopefully they get even better. Thanks for the tip, i was going to go on a mission to find some k-cups that I liked. Good to know Target is where to go! Thanks!

Barf bag, I am from the heart of the south – small farm town Carolina girl, and the term “Southern Belle” makes my skin crawl, hahahahaha. I love the fact that you’re a shop shopper and got 50% off of your Kruieg, go girl!!! I can’t wait to see how your amazing apple dessert turns out, you make the most delish looking food. Love u girl!
Kerry says
Haha! They don’t use that term in the book, the say Southern woman. My apologies. (See it’s working already) Haha! I actually just used it on a Gov’t customer that was trying to be hard nosed and it worked in my favor. Southern charm works! Thanks girl, can’t wait to make it, my co-workers will love it! Love you girl, have a great weekend!

We got a Keurig at work over the summer and I am hooked! I have a Tassimo at home but I think I prefer the Keurig – so many options. I wasn’t addicted to coffee til that thing came into my life!
Kerry says
It is so easy to use and quick! I will still use my 12 cup pot since I like to make extra for iced coffee the next day but for quick cup of coffee the Keurig wins! 🙂

Isn’t it too cute! I love the Keurig, it is so much quicker in the morning to get my Java fix! 🙂
