While I am still technically on vacation for one more day I am checking in to share what I have done so far. Today will mostly consist of a few projects, a hike, and getting my house back in order after moving a bunch of stuff around. So I’ll get to it so it doesn’t get too long since I have 3 days to cover. Friday: I headed down to my Dad’s house to help him fix out his tablet settings. It took a little longer than expected since he then remembered a million other things to have me help him with on his tablet. After that I went to Blue Hills in Milton to go hiking. I hadn’t gone to that trail on over 4 years and I didn’t have a map so I was a little nervous. It was amazing because I seemed to remember it as if it was just a week. I missed that trail though it wasn’t as long as my normal hikes. I then did some shopping for one of my budgeted projects. After hitting a few stores I headed home and played catch up on some blogging and reading.

You do need a vacation from your vacation! Busy lady! I just went to Blue Hills for the first time yesterday–after seeing your pics I think we should all do a hike/picnic there before it gets too cold. Or maybe just apple picking. So good to see you on Saturday-thank you for holding my hand!
It was a little hectic. I am hoping today will be a little more mellow. Isn’t it so pretty there! Yes, I want to go apple picking too we should plan something. You are very welcome. 😉
I was just thinking about needing a vacation from vacation ha. This weekend was just a normal weekend but the last 2 I’m going on mini vacations but I already know come Monday I’m going to want an extra day just to chill. Your pictures look really fun though!
It’s always nice to have an extra day but it might be more relaxing if I go to work!! Sounds like you have some fun planned!
I love the new entertainment center! Nice that you helped your dad! Your leaves are ahead of ours. Ours are just beginning to drop. Goddess speed for an easy, efficient housecleaning ! Oh, and surround yourself with lights and angels on your hikes or all the time- it’s free ! So glad the universe helped you get your bearings on your hike!
Love, SMD’s Momma
Thank you. He helped me a lot growing up, so just returning the favor. It is so beautiful with all the leaves on the ground. Hope you have a great week.
Love your new entertainment center!! I have to say hiking in the Blue Hills is one of my favorite activities – there are so many fun trails to explore!! Sounds like it’s been a productive and great few days off!
Thank you. I’m excited to get some stuff put on the walls to finish it. I missed being able to hike there, need to remember to go there more often. It was very productive.
Oh gosh why does it always end up being hours upon hours when we go to help our old people with technology? hah! Your sunday sounds dreamy haha!
Haha! It always happens, dang technology! It was pretty awesome!
I so need a mini vacation!! So looking forward to hearing about spooky world. Your entertainment center looks great!!
Take one!! It was amazing! It was scary and the food was delicious!
Oh, but that nap! So jealous of your nice, long nap! Love that you are being productive AND getting rest!
The nap was amazing!! I really wish I could take one everyday!! I tried to remember that I was on vacation and tried not to fill every moment even if I wanted too.
I always think I need to take a vacation to get stuff done, I’m not sure why I have lots of time right during the day to organize as long as I’m close to my phone and computer.
Relax and enjoy your last day of vacation!
I think it’s the only way I can actually have time for projects! I say you should go for it.
i love the new face lift! you can actually tie all the cables together into a bundle so they’re not all over the place and then use a cable protector that you can adhere to the wall (won’t let me insert a URL so just copy/paste this into google: electriduct.com/Megaduct-Cord-Hose-Cover.html). for the cables that we were unable to fish into the walls, we did this.
Thank you. I’ll look at that link. I didn’t want to do anything till I figured out where I was going to move everything.
goodness me you have been so busy! that spooky world thing looks terrifying, and i love your new entertainment stand!
It was scary but in a good way! Thank you I have a little more to do but I love it!!
Relax today lady! You got a lot in!
I think I forgot the meaning of relax. It was hectic but productive. Hiking was relaxing at least.
I love the Blue Hills! We must make that coffee when i visit and I will add bourbon to mine. Of course!
It is so easy to make we can totally make it. Of course, bourbon for you!
Love a good haunted house, so fun!
It was such a good time and lots of different houses!
I am so jealous of all the leaves and the beautiful outdoorsness!!!!! We don’t really get changing leaves here in Florida. It’s the one thing I miss about the Midwest
I would really miss the leaves too. You have the nicer weather and no real Winter which is a bonus! I’ll be jealous of you come January!
Heck yeah you need a vaca from your vaca – look at everything you’ve done!! Enjoy your hike today!
Thank you! I am certainly exhausted but it was really good. The hike was amazing and perfect weather for it.
Spooky world looks fun! I’m interested to hear how you liked it. I was thinking of checking out Halloween Horror nights at Universal Studios with some friends but Im not sure how I feel about being spooked by all those scary characters.
It was a lot of fun and many houses. They aren’t allowed to touch you, so it mostly just saying things, following you and noises. I say go for it!!
What a fun weekend– I love that you guys got to go to a blogger event at a Haunted House together– so fun, though I would definitely be too scared to go! haha And I looove Home Goods, sometimes it can be hit or miss, but you can almost always guarantee you’ll find what you need!
Emily had to hold my hand, so go in a group! 😉 Home Goods is amazing, I always leave with something when I go!!
Love seeing all your before and afters in your place and all the gorgeous leaves changing! That is the one thing I miss about not being up north!
The leaves are all on the ground now making it so pretty! Thank you it’s hard work but I’m glad with how everything is coming out.
You got beautiful hiking weather today too! Hope you have some time to relax before heading back to work.
It was so beautiful today!! I am just finally sitting down trying to play catch up! Oops!
YES!!! FALL LEAVES! Thank you for posting!! How do you feel about an unemployed 31-year-old coming and living on your couch for a bit? Just through fall! 😉
Thanks for linking up with us!!
Haha!! You are always welcome, but I might put you to work! 😉
It is gorgeous outside your house! I used to be pretty handy around the house and putting stuff together but my bf likes doing that stuff so I don’t know if I could put together a bookcase/entertainment center now.
Your hike is amazing too! I would love to be where you are this time of year. Your vacation sounds extremely full of productive things – not like a vaca at all. But, I might get bored if I didn’t do anything on my vaca.
Thank you!! Having someone else put stuff together is not a bad thing! 😉 it really is so pretty this time of year. It didn’t feel like a vacation but I was glad to get a lot done that I haven’t had time for lately.
Busy, but good, it seems. Spooky World looks fun. I’ve never been, but someday maybe. The clowns are creepy though. There’s a haunted attraction here too…it keeps getting bigger and more popular. Maybe I’ll get spooked locally first. 😉
It was both busy and good. It was a lot of fun and had 5 different houses. There was only one house that really had clowns. Start local and then maybe go to Spooky World.
The place where you went hiking is beautiful!
Thank you. I am really trying to go to more places around me, rather than just my favorite place.
I’m always so jealous of your beautiful hiking photos!! I feel like I’ll be living at Home Goods once we close on our house lol. They have the perfect things for little projects I want to do!!
Home Goods is your friend girl!! Learn it, live it, love it! 😉 They have so many cute items and really anything can be turned into another item.
Nanner nanner boo boooo… you have to go back to work tomorrow and suffer with the rest of us! ;P
Haha! Brat! Nobody knows my sorrow!!
it sounds like you do need another vacation! Mine always seem to end up the same way, full of all sorts of no relaxing things. Can’t wait to hear about the fright house! I
I ended up with so much on my to-do list that it ended up being so busy. It was really fun though.
How do you manage to do so much?? You’re so stinkin’ productive!!
I keep a lot of lists!! I try to multi0task a lot too. Hehe.
