With September being a crazy month for work it is nice to just stay home on the weekends and get things accomplished. Any plans more than that and it would just stress me out more. This weekend was absolutely perfect. I got so much accomplished that it made me feel really good.
Friday I hit up Ulta, Christmas Tree Shop, and Lowe’s. At Ulta I got the Lorac Alter Ego Lipstick in Secret Agent and Goddess after Biana shared a link to this Fall makeup tutorial.
Sunday morning I started another book in the Book Challenge By Erin. I am already horrified by what she endured and I haven’t read that much. I hate that that kind of evil lives in this world, and they failed to catch him for so many things. This cider was more my speed, and was much needed after a long day.

Old family photos are so fun! Have you tried Ace Perry Hard Cider? It’s a cider that’s made from pears and is divine if you like sweeter drinks! The new top on your coffee table looks great!

Thanks!! I try for sure. It is really sad and so devastating what she went through but she does say that she is sharing in the hopes that we teach others about being more aware and how to cope.

It is really good, it is Matte but they also sell it in lipgloss form which I got a sample of and like it. Haha! I don’t know if I am brave enough to share that one. Maybe on Insta for a TBT someday.

I read that book as well and was also horrified :/ Poor girl.
It was really good, I was surprised because I am not a regular root beer fan. It is heartbreaking, and even more so that she seemed numb to it at times. So sad.

Great job on the DIY and the counter cleaning. Did you put the stuff in cabinets or get rid of them altogether?
Thank you. It was so fun looking through those old pictures. I put the coffee maker, blender, and my mixer in cabinets. The rest I went through and threw out anything I didn’t use and I stored anything seasonal to make room for the rest in the cabinets.
Oh my. You got so much accomplished! I’m so jealous. Lately work has been so physically exhausting that I’m lucky if I have enough strength to get our of bed on my day off. Having split days off most of the time doesn’t help either. Loving those candlesticks. Like big time. And Seamus is adorable!
Thank you! It was a productive weekend for sure. Split shift is tough, I suggest starting small. A little spray paint project gets the ball rolling you want to conquer more projects. Though a nap helps too. 😉
