This Random Act of Kindness is something everyone can do. It is really great too because you can leave some in your car to pass out whenever you have a chance. At the Grocery store, at Target, at work, at the Bank, really anywhere there is a random car.
I used one bag of Tootsie Pops and taped them to a card and placed either on their windshield or on their door handle.
Anytime you are in a parking lot you can add one to a car. Just imagine, having the ability to make someone’s day a little better. It’s worth it right?! Of course it is.
I passed these out on Sunday when I was in an outlet mall. It was the perfect place to pass them out since there was hundreds of cars. There were a lot of people getting in and out of cars so I really got to work on my Ninja skills which are still clearly lacking, but getting better! 😉 For a blank template of the Be The Change cards click here.
I also want to share with you an Instagram account I follow @ariellecaputo she is another positive person who does Random Acts of Kindness. Her website and blog is D.E.A.P . – Dream Actively, Endlessly Pursue and she put a call out to send some cards to Logan Pearsons who is an Autistic boy who is turning 12 on February 24th and is currently dealing with bullies. She is trying to get some birthday cards sent his way so please let me know if you want to send him a card and I will send you his address. He is located in Massachusetts.
Are you considering doing your own Act of Kindness? If not, what is stopping you? Grab a button if you would like to spread the word. The change that we seek in others has to first come from within. This year I hope you decide to Be the Change You Seek.

Oh wow, thank you for being such an inspiration! This is the opposite of what I’ve been doing lately (staying curled up into myself, only going out for work, not putting enough of my energy out into the world), so of course, now is the perfect time to read this!
Kerry says
Glad you read it just in time! There is a chance everyday to make a difference. Big or small you can do something to help someone have a better day. Even if it is just a smile or holding the door open for someone!
Amanda says

Kerry says
Thank you! I hope it made them smile!
Ashley says
Once again, you are amazing! These posts always make me so happy. I think it’s the best thing in the world to make someone’s day a little brighter. Some of those shoppers at the outlet mall could have been having a rough day or week and that note could have been just what they needed! I’m going to do this.
Kerry says
Thank you. It doesn’t take much and can totally change someone’s day. So glad you are going to do it.
Jessica says

Oh then it is perfect timing! Would love to see what you end up doing!
Kym Fox says
Kerry what you’re doing here is absolutely beautiful. I’m sure you’re inspiring so many people along the way, and the affects of that are trifold. If you brighten someones day then they will treat someone a little kinder, and I hope that it just keeps rippling and rippling. The world needs more beautiful hearts like yours <3
Kerry says
Thank you so much! I really hope that it does catch on and remind people they can make a difference in someone’s day. Best compliment! Thank you again.

Hey from Arts & Crackers! I love this! So often we think paying it forward has to be something expensive but even something very small and thoughtful can bring a smile to someone’s face and turn their day around 🙂
Kerry says
Thank you. Yes, it doesn’t have to cost a lot to give back. It can just be holding the door open, or having a cup of tea or coffee and just listening. Giving your time can make a difference too.
Janna says
You are so cute! Great job, girl!
Kerry says
Thank you. It was a lot of fun. Running around the parking lot trying not to get caught. Haha! Just hoping it put a smile on someone’s face.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve been trying to put together a local group as well as an online group to do this. It’s great now that my kids are also old enough and interested in doing RAK’s. I plan on brainstorming things I can do monthly, at least. Found you on SitsShareFest. 🙂
Kerry says
That is great you are starting your own and that the kids want to be involved too. There are so many different ways to give back. Thank you so much for visiting!
Marcia @ Blogitudes says
I found you on SITS Sharefest as well – and am so glad I did! Your random act of kindness idea is awesome and is something that can be done so easily, yet can have such an impact on others. I love it and I’ll definitely be stopping back to get more random kindness act ideas from you! Thank you much!

Aw…I love this. What a cute way to make someone’s day!! I used to have it in my grocery budget to give a $10 gift card to the person behind me. I know it made my day far brighter than it ever helped them, but it was something. Thanks for sharing. I found you on SITS linky. -Tabitha
Kerry says

I love this!! I love to do Random Acts of Kindness. This year, in addition to it, my best friend and I are using the Do Good Bus’s #dogood52ways challenge! I purchased their holiday jar filled with 52 slips of paper with Random Acts of Kindness on them. I am documenting it on my blog on Thursdays. I love the idea for the jar because I think it’s a great opportunity for kids to learn what types of random acts of kindness there are in the world. Keep up the good work at being the change!!! (p.s. I found you from Kate @ Another Clean Slate).
Kerry says
Thank you! That sounds like a really great way to get ideas for the acts. Love that you are getting your kids involved.
honeybey says
