So I miscalculated when the snow was supposed to start and my 8am haircut appointment led to me sliding over the road at least five times and being 20 minutes late. Luckily she could still fit me in. The rest of the day was mostly spent reading, napping, and cleaning. I also snow plowed my driveway thanks to my brother’s old plow in a third of the time it used to take me. So nice.
We ended up with about 5-6 inches, it snowed pretty much all day.
Since my plans for Sunday were postponed I ended up binge watching the show Reckless, kinda bummed it wasn’t renewed for a second season. I also headed to Target and did a little retail therapy. Some candles, makeup and a new purse. Since the snow messed up my hair I had to take a picture on Sunday of my new haircut. Still long but much healthier.

It’s amazing what a difference new candles can make at home…sometimes, with the right music and dinner, it feels like you’re on vacation. Cute bag! I love going over to Target. You never know what you’l find. Good luck with snowmaggedon! Good grief! When is spring?
It was really relaxing, and made the house smell nice! I am so not excited for the snow! I will be home though which is good. Bundle up!

i am scared to death of driving in snow and/or ice. when we had the snow jam a year ago, it was a nightmare. do you ever get used to it? that being said, i wouldn’t mind some snow around here!
I donlt think you ever get used to it! You do learn how to prevent sliding too much. Some people still drive like idiots though. We have a few FEET expected tomorrow.

No joke, Seamus pooped in the street this morning on our walk because he couldn’t get over the snow bank a la Bridesmaids. I couldn’t stop laughing!
Your hair looks great. I went out late Saturday morning and the roads near me were not bad at all. I live right off the highway though, so most of the roads near me are cleared right away. Although, my street usually isn’t plowed right away. This time it was. No one was out though. All the stores were empty. Stay safe, this blizzard is gonna be crazy bad.
