Can I just say how excited I am that it is Thursday!! Tomorrow is my girls weekend with my BFF’s. We take a weekend trip together every year in place of birthday and XMAS gifts as a way to just spend time alone with just us girls. We get to shop, hangout, catch up, and just be plain old silly and make memories. We are also doing a 5K Color Run! Woohoo!! Be sure to check back on Tuesday for the weekend rundown!

For this week I wanted to do a quick and easy centerpiece for my dining room table. I like to switch things up for the seasons and I think this is really simple and classic. The original pin can be found here.
Supplies: Mason Jar ~ Metallic Silver Spray Paint ~ Flowers (real or fake will do) ~ Round mirror
OPTIONAL: Candles and table runner
Directions:
1. Spray the Mason Jar with the Metallic Spray paint (2 coats)
2. Once dry place on the mirror and insert flowers
3. Done (I felt it had to be at least 3 steps to seem legit, otherwise it was too easy) 😉
If you haven’t already, follow me on Pinterest here.
Now head on over to our two co-hosts Steph and Katie. Be sure to check out all the other pin inspired projects completed, because let’s be honest that is the best part!
Have fun on your girls weekend! And anything with mason jars I love so this is a win in my book!
Thanks Tori! I am so looking forward to this weekend!! Don’t you just LOVE Mason jars?! Drinks or decorations, you can’t go wrong!
I love these jars! I featured a similar one just with the addition of some glitter on my blog last week! I’m thinking of making them to add to my centerpieces for my wedding reception!
Ohh you should, they would look so beautiful. They were so simple and easy to make but make such an impact. Whether in gold or silver they would look amazing! I can so see them in the glitter or even twine if going for a more rustic look.
This came out adorable!
Thanks, Jess! I am loving it so far.
My SPD post is on metallic mason jars too! Love yours in silver, I painted a few gold and did gold glitter for the others!
Ha-ha! Great minds think alike! I just posted a similar comment on your blog. I like your gold version too, the glitter adds a nice sparkle!
It might be easy, but it’s also really pretty. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! It was so simple and really added a nice touch to the dining room centerpiece. Looking forward to switching it out with a Fall decoration!
This would also make a great winter decoration. So easy. Love your step number 3. Enjoy your SITS Day.
So true! Add some red cranberry twigs or other accessories and it can transition all year round! Had to be 3 steps at least! 😉
This is such an AWEsome and Easy DIY…which I would definitely need since I am a Professional Amateur! LOL I love Mason jars and just saw a box of 15 On Sale…this must be a sign that this project is meant for me! 😀 Thanks for sharing and Happy SITS Day!
Thank you! It is so quick and easy and some people have even added glitter to the bottoms. So easy to change up the colors to fit your decor! Oh, the fun you can have with Mason Jars. 🙂
Love these! I was going out to buy some metallic spray for another project, but now the wheels are turning of a whole display!!! Beautiful!
Thank you! Would love to see pics of your finished project! There are so many ways to make it unique and fit your decor!
Did you see the article on Circle of Moms about Spray Painting Loves? It was awesome! I’m going to get some cans this weekend and spruce up the place. Loved your idea. Especially on the mirror. Very nice!
I didn’t catch that article. I’ll have to try and find it. The mirror really makes the metallic paint seem more shiny! Thank you very much!
Hi Kerry! I love me some Mason jars, you can never go wrong!!! I really like the metallic look, I’m gonna have to try it out… Have a Happy SITS Day!!
There is so much you can do with Mason Jars! Hope you try it!!
This came out so well! I love the silver vase with the green candles.
Thank you! My walls are green so it accented it well but can be any color to match the decor. It was a quick project too!
