This was a weekend full of shopping, lunch dates, tornado warnings, hiking and Seamus cuddles. A perfect combination of everything. So let’s get to it so it doesn’t get too long!
Friday: If you remember my Birthday Wish List post these two items were on that list, and since my birthday is over I purchased them and they came in on Friday. Seamus was a cuddly bug, okay I made him cuddle but he was a good sport and those faces. I just melt!
How was your weekend?
The weather was absolutely bananas on Saturday night…slightly terrifying!!! I saw the picture of your goodies from the mall – those trips are always the best!! Love all the photos of Seamus – he’s so darn cute!! Happy Monday! xo
It was crazy, but a perfect excuse to relax inside. It was such a good shopping trip, so many good shops. Thank you, he does make me smile.
we had crazy weather on the weekend as well and i was SURE our basement flooded because of all the rain (it didn’t, thank god)

Thank goodness you didn’t have a flooded basement! You guys have had some freakish weather. I had to treat myself! Haha! It was perfect, though I could have gotten more chores done, but oh well such is life! 😉
Saturday was crazy, but I am so grateful for the cooler weather. Legacy Place is fun! So many options for all good things. And I LOVE the Whole Foods there. It’s a long drive from Central MA, but it’s a fun road trip. Happy Monday! Have a great week!
Yes, it is nice when it is not so hot. So many shops there, and we did pop into the Whole Foods. Thankfully it isn’t too far from me but more Central MA would be harder. Hope you have a great week!

Thank you, he melts my heart everyday! It is a lotion you put in the toilet and it sucks up the smell. Haha! That store is so addicting, I can’t help but go in!
I love that mug! It was out of stock online and I checked in our local anthro…they said they’re getting more but they didn’t the last time I checked and I wanted you to have your bday gift on time! I hope they do come back in, I’ll get one for myself if I see it. It’s gorgeous!

What a great weekend! We thankfully don’t get many tornado warnings here, but we’ve had such horrible storms lately, making it feel more like spring then fall– though my husband reminded me, it’s actually still summer! That enchilada stack looks delicious! And new candles are always so nice for the changing seasons! Loooove that Harry Potter print, such a great treat to yourself 🙂
Can you believe it is still technically Summer? It has still been hot but it is cooling off this week. It was so yummy and without the bread it was on the healthier side. I used one of the candles Saturday night, made the house smell so good.

I have a bottle of Poo-Pourri in my powder room downstairs. If you’re at someone’s house and have to…go. Wouldn’t you rather have the peace of mind that it’s not going to stink up the house? Also, check out their advertisement video on YouTube, it’s hysterical.

I totally do, I keep a plunger in every bathroom too because I can’t imagine the horror of someone clogging a friend’s toilet.It just seems like the worst thing ever.

I can’t believe you had tornado warnings in September, it seems like an odd time for tornadoes.
With the iPhone if you hold the button down it takes multiple pictures in a row. So I counted the lightening and then held it down, 100 pictures later I got one! Haha!
I think it happens a lot in the Spring and Fall with the temp changes but heck if I know. I follow my news channel on Facebook and saw it there. 😉

I love that you got a lightning bolt in that photo!!! I’m from the midwest so crazy storms are a common thing there. I miss them so much. Here in Florida, we get rain. Lots of rain. But thunder and lightning are rare. I miss my Midwest storms!!!
I haven’t bought anything from BBW in so long! Once our fall season settles in (it’s still in the 100s here), I’m going to buy some fall candles from there!
I kinda dig thunder and lightening though I preferred it from indoors. Oooh you need to head in there and stock up on their next sale. So many good fall scents, but I don’t blame you if you are still having seriously high temps.

It was crazy dark and the clouds were moving so fast. It wasn’t as bad as I thought, but it didn’t touch down thankfully. Thank you. He totally makes me smile all the time with his cuteness. I lucked out with that one for sure. I had to try it, and it was SOOOOOO good!! I haven’t seen it in stores though. 🙁

I haven’t had the pineapple cider but it sounds really good and I recently had a pineapple martini so I think since it says ‘pineapple’ that means it’s healthy, right?
I have no idea what my problem is with mugs but I just love them!
It is always interesting getting used to a new gym but looking forward to it. Yes, I was a little bummed the larger candles weren’t on sale yet so I stuck with the smaller ones. Pineapple totally means healthy and a cider so it is totally a fruit salad, right?! 😉 I am so addicted to mugs too! So many cute designs and colors.

I also hit up Bath and Body and Victoria’s Secret last week! I’ve never bought candles from Bath and Body before but I wanted something that smelled like fall…the candles are amazing! My entire house has smelled so good this week!
