Well I am still on vacation for one more day and I left a lot of the items on my list for today so this is just a portion of it. Today is my shopping day so that should be fun. I also need to get my inspection sticker on my car, not as fun.
Taking a break on Friday at the hospital with my Dad to read and have lunch. FInishing the book led to me watching an obscene amount of the The Mindy project episodes.
Made a huge batch of fruit salad to have as breakfast for the week. So good. Also had a side of chorizo and some walnuts.
Saturday I was having my new oven delivered so I dubbed it my not leaving the couch day. So I curled up with a book and relaxed with some coffee. This book is perfect for those who love the Hallmark movie season. It was perfectly adorable. Sure it had some eyeroll moments and things were wrapped up a little too perfectly but it was a town that came together and helped their own including veterans and it pulled my heartstrings.
I had more than a few wood projects I wanted to work on but then I took a nap instead of lugging out my miter saw so this was the only one I got done. I still need to dress it up but it was a fun stocking project.
Sunday was finally the day where I could get outside so I took to the trails for a 4.5 mile. Then I went grocery shopping and relaxed for a little bit. Ok, okay I took a nap. Then did the stocking project.
I am a horrible doggy Mom since I forgot to celebrate turning 10 on Thursday. I usually celebrate on the 15th which was the day I adopted him but I totally forget. Bad Mommy. Either way I totally spoiled him all weekend.

Awe, happy birthday Seamus!! Loving the idea of fruit salad for breakfast, I didn’t prep breakfast so this morning it was toast and a banana. Hope you get a lot accomplished today and enjoy the last of your vacation time this weekend!
I can’t believe he is 10 already. The fruit salad is really nice and I like that it is grab and go I struggle with breakfast if it takes too long.

Well considering they found I needed a new exhaust I would say the worst. Thank you, he does have a sweet face. I think you’d like it, light and fluffy but really sweet.
Don’t feel bad – I have completely forgotten when one of my dog’s birthdays is – I cant remember if its August, September or November… THAT’s a bad doggie mom!

I forget Dobie’s birthday all the time because it’s January 9th and I’m still crazed from the holidays. I make it up to him big time when I eventually remember. Treats, new toys, the works.

He is totally getting a paw ice cream “cake” tonight. Poor thing. I am so excited for the oven, I can finally make bacon again! Haha!

when i read mindy’s first book i binge watched a bunch of her show lol. then i kinda fizzled out on it, but i’ve been meaning to catch up.
It was so cute and just a feel good book. I loved the show and it was not what I expected.

It wasn’t overly great but it was good. It tend to be all over the place like a lot of celebrity books, but it did make me laugh out loud more than a few times so it was worth a read.

Thank you. I did like it, audiobooks are typically hard for me to pay attention to but I like listening to comedian audiobooks because you get their sense of timing. I did like reading this one though, it is a little scattered but I feel like most of them are too. Good stories.

Yes it was sweet and romance and helping each other within the town. Yes so much as he got his ice cream he didn’t mind! Ha!

Making fruit salad in big batches is the best. I could live off it for days and not get sick of it… sometimes it even gets BETTER after a few days!

It is starting to look like Fall. I actually need to rake this weekend. I think it was good, a little random at times but I think more celebrity books tend to be.
