What a weekend! It was a whirlwind but I feel like I got a lot of things done and I am ready for this week to begin. That hasn’t been the case in awhile so I feel good. I also have a free weekend next week so I am looking forward to finishing up my office and doing a final reveal. Excited for that project to be completed, more projects coming for sure.
+ I hate having my picture taken but my hair was decent, the sun was out and I hadn’t taken one in months so it happened.
+ My brother and my niece (his daughter) share a birthday and the party was on Saturday. It was a princess theme. The birthday girl was Cinderella, and her sister was Elsa. They are just so precious.
+ That face! She was so excited for cake. She totally licked a few parts of the cake.
+ This kid does not appreciate clothes! She grabbed the whole stack and dropped them on the floor! Haha! My sister-in-law was very appreciative though. Girl is grwing like a weed.
+ On the way home I stopped at Barnes and Noble for some new cookbooks. Trying to get back into Paleo eating. So excited to make some of the recipes.
+ My lawn is pathetically dead after Winter. I need help, grow grass grow. My Hostas are coming in though.
+After I came in from raking the lawn I started food prep for the week. I made Chorizo egg muffins, Chicken Salad with pecans, apples and dates. The meatloaf was next and I also made some Chocolate chip banana bread (not pictured).
+ While everything was baking I placed another order with Elm Street Studios. I just love her mugs. I know I need to stop. It’s a sickness. The Punch Today In The Face and Rise and Grind are coming home to me though.
+ The rest of the night was finishing up cleaning, watching the Blacklist, and blogging.
+ He just melts my heart. I played with him outside since I knew I was going to be gone for a few hours. Love him!

Awesome that your brother and his daughter have the same birth date! She looked adorable. I need to make a meat loaf. I have made a few, but none were that good. We had burgers on the grill. Always good.
Give me a nice filet mignon or a nice burger. FM is wicked expensive,so burgers will have to do.

My brother doesn’t much attention but she sure does! My brother made an awesome meatloaf with bacon wrapped over it. I will try and get the recipe from him, everyone should have a good meatloaf recipe. Filet is so expensive right now, but burgers are always a good alternative!
yes to those cookbooks! share good recipes please 🙂 our lawn is atrocious. canadian government banned all chemical-based sprays so it’s weeds all the live long day. our grass is awful now and even in the summer when we try and get the grass green, it gets overrun by weeds and it’s an uphill battle with the weeds!!!
Yes, I will share I am loving them so far. It is so horrible my whole lawn is practically dead and just dirt. I’ll have to replant the whole thing. 🙁
