This weekend went by in such a whirlwind that I barely remember what I did. Excited for the short week though so I get to see my family. I will be baking up a storm on Wednesday night and Maddie is coming on Friday so we will be meeting up. So let’s review the weekend so we can get that much closer to Thanksgiving.
Friday: After a long day of 3 meetings all lasting about 1-1/2 hours each I ended the night with a glass of champagne (it’s wasn’t that great) and caught up on my DVR stockpile. Poor Seamus also got to model his new Christmas headband, he’s such a good sport.

This is the one I purchased, but it doesn’t do it justice one the amount of detail you can see when it’s in front of you:

Linking up with Leeann from Join the Gossip and Biana from B Loved Boston.

I’m so glad you liked the card organization and even more impressed you’ve already gotten started on them LOL!! Sounds like a really great weekend except for the meh bottle of champagne!! Hope you have a great start to your week girl….and not a lot of meetings!!
Haha! I usually write all my card out the day after Thanksgiving so I wanted to be prepared. I think it was just drier than I prefer. I did sub in a Peach Moscato champagne that was really good. Here’s to hoping this work week flies!
That drawing is fantastic…you can almost feel the snowflakes. I am blown away by the level of creativity and artistry that some people have. Such gifts. Have a wonderful (short) week and a great Thanksgiving!
His work was just amazing! It was so detailed and he said some drawings can take up to a week to do. Just amazing. Happy short week.
God bless you on that yard work. 15 bags! That’s a workout is an itself.
We had a grandchildren sleepover Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. A lovely dinner
With framily. I made a nice turkey dinner yesterday. My little laptop died and I am able to use my husband’s iPad. Lucky me!!
Have a nice short week!
Love, SMD’s Momma
You had a full house but it looked like you had a great time! Kids are just so precious! Oh no, hope they can fix your laptop but the iPad is always fun!
Girl, you had a busy weekend!!
LOVE the drawing! That is beauuuutiful!
Yay for Thanksgiving week! Soak up that time with your family!
Haha! It seems I save all my chores up for the weekends. All of his drawings were so good, such detail. So excited for a short work week and getting to see my nieces. We are very low-key and relaxed so it will be a great time.
90 Day Fiancé always draws me in. Lol. Did the lazy bachelor still make it with his fiancé? He was cute but kind of a dick. I always admire how much you get done! Love it.
I really want to know what happens 5 years from now, if they are still together. They were all lazy! Haha! Do you mean the one from California? He did end up helping with cooking and I think he got better about helping around the house.
Soooo what do you do with your trash if it isn’t curbside? So weird!
That drawing is awesome! Hooray for a short week!
The trash is curbside but recycling is every other month and yard waste is only curbside in November and again in April or May. Too many rules.
I LOVE his sant5a headband! That is seriously adorable.
He is so good about sitting for a picture, and he looked so darn cute. Thank you!
Those drawings are amazing!
It sounds like you had a great weekend, with a good combination of fun and productive and relaxing.
He is so talented I was blown away! It was a good weekend, tiring but that was what the nap was for, right?! 😉
Love your card organizer!! It came out so good!!
Thank you. I love that is all together and easy to find everything.
I love that picture you bought at the craft fair – It’s GORGEOUS!
And I don’t know if you’re getting it – but supposedly the weather is going to look like that (in the picture) on Wednesday into Thursday! UGH!!!!!!!!!
And while waiting for Klay to plop hi s butt on the couch for movie time last night, I totally got sucked into 90 day Fiance. That one chick from Brazil was driving me crazy! And the one from the Phillipines and the whole “fake diamond” thing – WTH?!?!
Thank you. It is even better in person. No, just no. Not hearing it! 😉
They are crazy. Those two I completely don’t trust their intentions. Totally seem to be in it for the green card, especially the one from Brazil who wanted to start modeling. Oh boy!
Oooh I love that crafting supply bucket!!! Aren’t the shows in TLC just crazy?!?! So much for the LEARNING channel!! I get sucked in all. the. time! I didn’t watch 90 day fiance, but I need to catch up!
I don’t know what happened to me but I was entranced. Witchcraft I tell ya! Haha! I genuinely wanted to know if they really liked each other or if it was just for a green card. I think the musician guy was genuine and the couple from California but the rest are suspect!
you are so productive on the weekends! i just love Seamus’ headband, so cute! wish my cats would let me do that haha.
oh my goodness, those are drawings? they look absolutely amazing. what talent!
Thanks! It’s mostly because I am not as productive during the week it gets pushed to the weekends. 🙂 He just sits for me, it’s so weird but I love it since I get to take pictures of him in weird headgear.
Yes, all done in ink or reproductions of his ink drawings, I couldn’t believe it either, so amazingly detailed. I love supporting artists like that, who are just so talented.
Great craft show score!
I love love love the headband on Seamus.
It was such a great find and I stopped in my tracks. So good. He is so good about letting me torture him for a photo op. 😉
Seamus and the santa ears!!! #ded I LOVE IT!!
It is so hard to ever be mad at him with that face!! He is just too cute!
I like that snow photo!
My DVR is so full right now.
His work was amazing, and it was an ink drawing. So impressive. I still have shows from last week to catch up on, but hopefully this weekend!
Sounds like a super productive weekend and relaxing. What are you knitting?
It was very productive. It is a “little red riding” hood that Kathy from Vodka and Soda was eyeing.
I’m going to check out the drawings now. Very cool- I love craft fairs!!
And 15 bags?! Whoa!
Tell me what you think, I was so impressed. They are so great for finding great gifts. I had already done 12 bags 2 weeks ago too. 🙁
I am so terrible with organizing. I used to be VERY organized but once I started my bachelor’s degree that went out the door. Then I finished my bachelor’s and it did not return at the level I wanted.
Love love love the pic!!
It can be so hard. I am not as good as I would like to be either but I am trying. If it wasn’t for people sharing their ideas I would be lost.
Absolutely loving your card organization – all of my supplies are scattered in a scary junk drawer, haha!
That was how mine was before, some downstairs, some in a drawers, others on top of the desk. This is so much easier to find everything.
The champs wasn’t that good? Blasphemy! Haha… I’ve tried that one before too and it was alright, I’ve found cheaper bottles that taste better 😉
I think I just don’t like it to be that dry. I like something a little sweeter so it just wasn’t my taste. I did have an Andre Peach Moscato Champagne that was really good so clearly I have a snobby palette! Hehe! Just kidding it was a screw top, but it was delicious.
The amount of talent that exists in this world amazes me. Could be why I got none of it… whoever did that drawing stole my share, too! ;P
Haha! I think he got my share too. He work was just amazing.
haha! I laughed at the line about knitting and texting and that not being such a good idea. FOR REAL THOUGH. That’s a terrible idea. I would know, since I’ve done that myself 🙂
I had to redo a few sections more than once. Such a bad idea.
for whatever reason i am fascinated with finding covered bridges on my travels, so i love that one you got. gorgeous!
They are just so pretty and I love when they have a walk path on the side. I can’t wait to hang it up.
Love the headband! Ha! Great organization! I was just looking at my stuff last night saying I needed to do something!
He wears it without complaint, well for a few minutes at least! 😉 It is just a cutlery tray wrapped in paper but it really keeps everything together.
I love that photograph, I would definitely hang that in my house.
He was so talented. Perfect thing to put on your Christmas list!
Nothing like a good glass (or 3) of champagne after a long week 😉 And Seamus looks sooooo cute in his Christmas headband! LOL love it!
It was much needed! Thank you. He is so good about sitting until I can take the picture, then he gives me the side eye and waits for a treat. 😉
Sounds like quite a weekend! Craft fairs are always fun 🙂 lol loved that you dressed up your dog
I love craft fairs, there are so many talented people out there that deserves the support. He was so cute, and he is such a good sport. Thank you.
Wow! That drawing really is incredible!!! I heart organizing.
The detail in them was just amazing!
Craft fairs can be so fun! The piece you bought it beautiful! 🙂
