This weekend was so productive. I really enjoy not having a schedule and places to be! I have a feeling my weekend recaps are going to get boring this summer so I may have to start skipping them and posting something else. The weekends are mostly spent doing errands, cleaning, reading, and creating recipes of course.
I don’t think I took one picture on Saturday. I spent the majority of the day doing yard work, tilling the lawn, planting grass and setting up the sprinklers. I had to make a second trip to Lowe’s after the hose wasn’t long enough to stretch the length of my lawn.
I ended up watching The Awkward Moment with Zac Efron on Saturday after all the yard work was done. Not what I expected but still pretty good movie.
Sunday was filled with lots of laundry, dishes, and cleaning. I made the salad that I mentioned here and it was delicious!!
When I got home I took him for a walk to burn off some of the ice cream. He really loves rolling in the grass.
I spent the night cooking food on the grill for the week, and this Watermelon Pineapple Salsa I will be sharing tomorrow.

girrrllll! watermelon salsa??? YES PLEASE. looking fwd to the recipe. i tried to make pico de gallo yesterday but the limes we bought on saturday were duds! as in ZERO juice came out when i squeeze it!! 🙁
Oh no that stinks!! I always keep organic lemon and lime juice in the fridge just in case.

Do you ever get doggie ice cream for Seamus? My dog loves it! He has never had the real stuff though… And look at your fancy plate with the twist of lime!
I don’t usually give him ice cream but it was so hot out and it was a nice treat. Some dogs are sensitive to lactose but Seamus has had greek yogurt no problem. I should check out the puppy ones though. Haha! I was trying to be all fancy. 😉

Had our 2 grandchildren until Saturday since
Their mom was in a wedding on Friday. A bridal
Shower Saturday about 45 min away and my
Sean had a U23 Red Bull game at 10 am
Sunday morning. I was up between 5-5:30 for
4 days in a row. Need to clean now big time!
Very blessed ! Weather has been divine!

My weekend was GREAT! I love your puppy he’s adorable! And, I must say.. I did a lot of yardwork on Sunday, and it was SO worth it. Which was weird to write, but, the way our property looked afterwards.. Completely amaze-balls!

Isn’t it so satisfying when you know you’ve had a productive weekend? I feel the same way- we didn’t have much planned but I think we got a lot done…including some new clothes shopping 🙂

I love it when I get everything done in one weekend. Although I did not get much done concerning chores, I did get to spend time with my girls.

I LOVE cooking on the grill! Well, technically Will cooks on the grill, but I love grilled food! One day I’ll learn how to work the thing, haha.
