This was the kind of weekend that I have been wanting for a long time. I really got to spend most of Saturday and Sunday just being lazy. I am so thankful for 4 day weekends. I also got to spend time with family and Maddie came up for the holiday so we got together for dinner on Friday Night. I didn’t take any pictures though. Womp womp. We were too busy talking and laughing. I also had major internet issues so I didn’t really open my laptop until Sunday night. So here was a bullet point account of my weekend.

~ I just had to document a good hair day.
~ After getting home from my Aunt’s house I had a slice of pie, a craft cider and watched Love Actually. Getting in the spirit.
~ Snuggles with Seamus, he likes to get really close.

~ Starting Saturday with some peppermint coffee. I did some shopping including a new reindeer that I smashed in the car door. Have no fear I fixed it with some Gorilla Super Glue and some glitter. Good as new.
~ I got some fabric to make a fabric tree garland for my tree. This was shortly after a woman almost ran me over in the parking lot. Sheesh!
~ I started decorating but I wasn’t feeling it so I only did small sections, which I am sure will be re-arrange next weekend.

~ I started decorating my dining table for Winter. It is a work in progress.
~ Seamus looking fluffy and adorable.
It was just what I needed and I got a lot of reading done and just relaxed. I also got to write out my Christmas cards. Next weekend I will be in Maine for Christmas by the Sea and I can’t wait. I love getting together with the girls and hopefully finish up my Christmas shopping.
How was your Thanksgiving?
Did you get some relaxing in this weekend?
Linking up with Leeann from Join the Gossip and Biana from B Loved Boston.

I love all your Christmas decorations – it looks so pretty!! And girl you have fantastic hair!!! So glad you were able to relax and take in some much needed relaxation time!!! Hope you have a wonderful Monday!
Thank you. I need to get all my other decorations out but I was struggling to get into the mood. My hair is my signature, I think. 😉 It was much needed though I wish I was a little more productive.
Love your Christmas stuff!
So glad you and Maddie got together. I’m sad work blew up and I couldn’t dash out to meet her before she headed up to Boston.
Thank you. I was totally half effort with them. She was telling me that you had a last minute meeting. Bummer. Hopefully another time. We had a blast at the Angry Ham Garage until my old lady self got annoyed with the increasing loud music.
Love your decorations!! You did such an amazing job!! You are so talented!! So jealous you found Sugar Free Peppermint Mocha Coffemate. I can’t find it anywhere!!
Thank you. I still have a few tubs of decorations to bring up but it might be a light decorating year. That stinks, I found it at my Shaw’s but I think I saw it at Stop and Shop too. Hopefully they were just out at your location and stocking up, it’s so good.
I love that peppermint mocha creamer. It’s probably my favorite.
It is so good especially paired with the Candy Cane coffee. Yum!
I didn’t know there were Buckeye Bars involved! If I would’ve known that I would’ve driven my ass down there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you kidding if I don’t bring it I am not allowed in the door! Haha! So what you are saying is I need to make them again ASAP to get your butt to Boston?! Deal!
All of your desserts sound wonderful! Looks like you had a great weekend, and I love all the decor you have up so far! I just love how cheery Christmas decor makes a home.
Thank you. It was a very nice relaxing weekend, though I am almost glad for work so I can get back to eating healthy. The Christmas decor does make it look more cozy and cheerful.
Caramel Apple and pear Pie?! yummmm. man your decor is amazing, i have like 1 thing besides my sparse tree haha. i hate going to the shops this time of year, we almost got run over in the parking lot too, i mean what the hey, people!?
Aww thanks. I have little by little acquiring things. The reindeers are a newer purchase and my Mom got me the white snowman statues a while back. They were crazy and I waited till Saturday thinking it would have died down by then, nope.
I cannot wait until I have good hair days again!
It looks like you had a full and fun holiday!
I feel the same whenever I cut my hair. Yours will hopefully grow fast. It was so nice to spend it with family but to also have Sat. and Sun. to be lazy.
Your decorations are so pretty! And your hair looked fantastic!!
I want to eat Buckeye bars. Because chocolate and peanut butter.
Thank you so much! I don’t do my hair enough. They are my favorite and they sorta melt in your mouth. I am in detox from them! Haha!
Before I read the caption I thought, “Oh heyy, good hair day!” LOL. Love it! I’m glad you had some lazy this weekend – I know I did!
Haha! Thanks! I am not a fan of getting my picture taken, but on a good hair day exceptions apply. 😉 It was much needed lazy, I couldn’t get any motivation this weekend and I am totally ok with it. Glad you did too 🙂
All of those fabrics look great together, I can’t wait to see how the tree garland comes out 🙂 Looks like a fun weekend!!
It was so hard finding them too but I am excited to make it. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend!
Seamus does look super fluffy in that picture below! He is having a good hair day TOO! 🙂
And I love your holiday decorations – or the beginnings of it!
I think we’re going to get a majority of our stuff out this weekend. 🙂
It sounds like you had a lovely weekend! Hopefully we can maintain this level of awesome (and stress free) throughout the holiday season – fingers crossed for that one!
He really needs a bath but I do like him fluffy too. I think when I get back on Monday the rest of the decorations will come out, i just couldn’t get up the energy for it. Fingers crossed for a stress free holiday season!
Oo, that pie looks amazing. I love pie.
Pie really can make the world go round! 😉
Christmas by the sea sounds wonderful. Your hair looks marvelous.
We had a rather quiet 4 days. Got some Christmas out on Saturday. More out today. Changing it up a bit.
Glad you had a nice 4 days off!
Love, SMD’s Momma
It is such a magical and wonderful time, just us girls and shopping. Thank you. Glad you are relaxing and decorating done, it really makes the season.
Your hair looks really pretty!! Your apple and pear looks amazing too!
Thank you, I don’t do my hair that often anymore. Pie is always good, even when it’s bad! 😉
O.M.G. I just cannot believe how much I want a piece of everything you baked. The bars. The pie. The other deliciousness. Choco, pb and butterscotch are my all time favs. I did not eat a whole lot of dessert this year, mainly because there were not as many choices as usual. Probably a good thing!
Hair looks amazing in that pic and we were outta town so I did not have internet service at all. It was kinda nice.
Thank you. I think it was probably a good thing. I feel like an Oompa Loompa. I get so cagey when I don’t have internet. Though it is nice at times too.
The chocolate looks soo delish! Your hair looks AWESOME too! I’m so glad you got to enjoy your long weekend! 🙂
The peanut butter layer mixed with the chocolate is like one big Reese’s. 🙂 Thank you so much! (blushing) Hope you had a great long weekend too.
The chocolate looks delish and you look beautiful (Seamus aint too bad either!) Looks like a fab weekend!
I have to leave the leftovers or I would want to eat it all! Thank you so much! Kisses! It was so nice not to be rushing around!
I mean you totally had to document that because your hair looked fabulous!!!! Love seeing all the holiday decorations!
Aww thanks! It doesn’t get done much during the week. 😉 I am hoping once I come back from Maine I will do the rest of the decorations.
What a lovely weekend!
Thank you, it was a great one. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving too.
You have the best hair! So jealous of your date with Maddie. Seamus is absolutely adorable! And can’t wait to see your final decorating. It all looks great so far! xo
Awww thanks! We always have the best time, I am lucky she squeezes in some time for us to visit. Thank you, I am looking forward to finishing it.
Those desserts look DELISH! Looking forward to the recipes 🙂
Thank you. It was a lot of fun baking them all.
Aren’t 4-day weekends the best? I love them. You totally had an awesome hair day! Fabulous 🙂
They are the best, especially when the last two are all for being lazy. Thank you! Sometimes it just gets thrown up into an updo so when it gets done it needs a little glory. 😉
omg there’s a candy cane coffee?? take me money. i have the creamer. i’m almost there!
Yes!!! It was leftovers from last year, but I have seen some at Target. Go, go now!! 😉
That pie looks amazing, you go girl! I also love how full of Christmas-y things your weekend was. I’m loving getting up to my elbows in Christmas things, too. This is my favorite time of the year. 🙂
I love this time of year, it really does make things feel so much more cozy. Hope you share some of your decorations.
So jealous of your hair! It looks amazing. So do your desserts. I would love a night of pie and Love, Actually!
Thank you. It has it’s moments. 🙂 It was a nice way to end the night, very relaxing!
