Is it really Monday? This weekend seemed to fly by, I forgot to stop and take pictures but I do have a few. I got a lot done around the house, but I also did some knitting and some reading done too. So here we go.

~ Saturday was a whirlwind of chores, library trip, the gym and watching the Patriots eeek out a win!
~ I finally hung up some art I got while I was in Maine this past December. The yellow and blue goes well in my office that has blue walls. (The anchor is more blue that the picture shows)
~ I made this amazing salad after my trip to the gym.

~ I am only considering this a half conquer since I decided to take the stain a little dark and need to lighten the letter. Almost done though. This will makes it way onto my bedroom wall.

How was your weekend?
Linking up with Biana from B Loved Boston.
Oh…I have heard great things about the Rosie Project. Let us know. 🙂 Happy Monday.
It sounds really good and I have the second book to read as well right after it. I’ll be sure to share. Happy Monday!
Thank god the patriots won!! Sure hope you’re going to share that DIY – love the words you included!! Happy Monday girl! xo, Biana
It was a nail biter! Of course. It hit a little snag but hoping to finish it up soon. It got the idea in the Fall while hiking so I am glad to finally make the sign. Happy Monday!
you’re just so dang crafty!! i was a slacker a t taking pics this weekend!
Aww thanks. I love doing them but trust me they always hit a snag along the way. Sometimes it just goes by so fast.
I loved both of the books it looks like you got from the library- hope you do too!
Yes, I got them from the library. Excited to read them both, then follow up with the Rosie Effect.
That salad looks so yummy!! And love the wall art 🙂
I devoured it, after my run. Hit the spot. Thank you.
hahahaha my husband was on the edge of his seat during that game as well. i always bug him about the patriots and when they were down like, 10 points, i said: hmmm, if brady were as good as you say, they wouldn’t be in this predicament”. and instead of the expected mouthiness i usually get, he said in a sad voice “i know; i know”. LOL.
It was nerve wracking but he is going enough to pull off the win. Which is all that matters. Haha! He can’t be offense and defense. Boys did a poor job of stopping their running game during the first half.
We had a lovely Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Dinner with framily to celebrate a birthday and half price coupons for our dinners. A great surprise party for my daughter-in-law on Saturday night and an early dinner with family to send Sean back to Villanova. Thank God we are close.
Be safe out there today.
Love, SMD’s Momma.
You had a busy weekend! The surprise party looked like it went off without a hitch.
I loved both of those books!
I can’t wait to read them, they have both been stuck in my to-read list for too long.
That was quite a game. Love your new wall art!!
Twice!! Ugh, had me on the end of my seat. Thank you.
Glad you had a good weekend. I love the project!
I don’t know how it goes by so quickly!!! Thank you.
Love the anchor welcome sign! Right up my alley!!
I have a huge love of anchors so it was a perfect find from my friend.
Love the DIY, that wood is gorgeous!!! Also love that anchor too! And that salad looks delicious!
Thank you. It was a long time coming. I am dreaming of that salad again! Ha!
🙁 I’m a Ravens fan. But it was definitely a good game. Lots of excitement right until the last second.
It was such a good game, played well on both sides. It was so brutal watching it.
ooh that DIY wood thingy is pretty – can’t wait to see the finished product 🙂 that salad seriously looks way better than the salad i’m eating right now lol
Thank you. It has since changed. I got a little crazy with the stain. Ooops. It was delicious, which could have been exaggerated by the fact i just ran and was so hungry! 😉
That salad looks yummy!
It really hit the spot!
The strawberry salad looks delish! What kind of dressing did you use? Love how the wall plaque looks so far!
I just used oil and balsamic vinegar. Thank you, I am so excited to finish it, it’s been on my to-do list for awhile.
Glad you had a good weekend. Mine was perfectly relaxing!
January is the perfect time for relaxing.
Be ready for tears during Me Before You, just saying. I’m talking about it in my post tomorrow!
I am preparing myself. I am hoping to get started on it tomorrow.
Yummm that salad looks amazing!!! I also love that anchor artwork!
Love fresh strawberries on my salads, so good. Thank you.
Ooo I love BOTH of those books that you have! I hope you enjoy them.
I am so excited to read both of them, they have been on my book lists too long.
Did you enjoy The Rosie Project? Love your new wood project!
I just got it, so haven’t started it yet. I have heard good things. Thank you, it’s been in my notes on my phone for so long.
yum – that salad looks so good. hi seamus!
It really hit the spot! Seamus sends sloopy kisses. 😉
Reading and projects, yay! While I love strawberries in a salad, I don’t ever think I’ve had it in one with tomatoes too how was it?! Sounds like a great weekend to me. I had a pretty busy weekend that I could have done without since I was sick but I managed to get through it. So thankful that it seems to be getting better!
It was so food, great mix of flavors. Glad you are feeling better, never good to be sick when you have a lot going on.
Seamus is adorable as always! And I love your diy and wall art!
Thank you. He knows how to work a camera for sure! 😉
Fruit on salad is DELICIOUS! Blueberries and strawberries on spinach is the BOMB… I swear you don’t even really NEED dressing (but of course I use it anyway, haha)!
I love how “snuggle read repeat” turned out!!!!!!!!!
Of course a little dressing is needed, silly head. Thank you. It actually ended up with a darker stain thank to a little oopsie.
