Monday we are not on speaking terms! This weekend was so wonderful and you have ruined it. Okay, a little dramatic I know, but it was so nice to not have anywhere to be, and I could just sit and read, marathon watch Orange Is The New Black, and take walks. There was so much I wanted to get done this weekend but I also wanted to just rest. Hopefully I get another one of these weekends soon.
After a few episodes of Orange Is The New Black and finishing the book The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry I went out for a run/walk. These trails are really pretty and they go on for miles. I ended up doing about 4.5 miles.
After I got home I laid out in my front yard reading the book Wonder and napping. It was glorious.
I went to get dog food, and stopped at the library to pick up a few books that came in.
I put a few pictures up in the office and a mail center above my desk. It isn’t finished but it’s getting there. Sunsets from Maine for some inspiration.
I went grocery shopping and got to the checkout and realized I forgot my wallet, went all the way home, realized my debit card was in my purse. Ugh. Story of my life.
The rest of the night was OITNB, reading and blogging. Couldn’t have been a more simple weekend and while I didn’t do everything on my list I got to take it easy which was nice.
Seriously could he be any cuter?! Nope.

I love those “whole lot of nothing” weekends. I have restrained myself from the new season of OITNB for fear of binging, but on this rainy day, I think tonight is the night. Have a great, albeit rainy, Monday.
It was such a good change of pace. Oh yes, you’ll have to start it was so good. I think I am on episode 12. So much better than last season!

Weekends have been so packed these last few weeks that I am looking forward to a free weekend this coming one – gahh! And I did finish Mad Men finally but never got to OITNB yet – I can’t wait!
Yes, every few weeks you really just need a relaxing one. Ohh I need to get caught up on Mad Men too. OITNB was so good this year.

It was so relaxing. They were both so good. I related to Fikry so much at times. I felt so much for Auggie and loved the different perspectives.
It looks so cool and refreshing in your forest, nothing like the 100+ temps from my weekend.
My worst nightmare is getting to the cashier with a cart full of groceries and realizing I can’t pay because I’ve forgotten my card.
That sounds brutal!! Yes it was in the 80’s but not that hot.
It was so annoying, luckily I live close but still annoying since I almost didn’t go because I didn’t want to waste the time. That’s what I get for not checking.
I am far from a do nothing weekend. This all sounds awesome to me!

Some of the best weekends are when they are totally low key!! Where do you go hiking? I need to check that trail out, it’s so pretty.
This one was more a trail than a hike but it goes through Holliston, Ashland, and the Ham. It is really pretty and it is so close to me which is nice. If I am hiking I go to Callahan State Park. So many good trails there too.
I really need to get on the OITNB train….But first I gotta get on the Netflix train haha

Im never thrilled about the return of Monday. I’m in need of a quiet weekend to just binge watch Orange is the new Black so I can get caught up. Hopefully this coming weekend! Hope Monday doesn’t treat you too bad today!

I hardly moved from my couch between Friday and Saturday, and it was heavenly. Sometimes you just need to relax and recharge! What did you think of Orange is the New Black?
Yes, sometimes it is just nice to relax and recharge. I really liked this Season, some new characters and back to more of the Season 1 glory. Did you watch any of it?

I really loved A.J Fikry and Wonder. Both beautifully told quirky characters. Left you feeling very sad that the book was over.
I can’t believe I’ve never read Wonder… I gotta make that a priority.

I am so anxious to watch OITNB. My husband and I watched season 1 together and started season 2 but then he got too busy. He doesn’t have much free time so when he does, we don’t spend it in front of the TV. I was going to wait for him but now that season 3 is out and I need shows for all my hours on the couch nursing, I think I’m going to start it back up.
What do you think of 35 thus far? I hear a lot say they’re not too impressed and only enjoy the “flashbacks”. (Obviously I have no ide what they’re talking about.)
It was night, it was only mid-70’s so I totally napped in the sun! This season was so much better than the flashback season. Much more action, more storylines. Piper is still annoying but everyone else was really good.
