If you remember, last Christmas my Aunt and Uncle gave me about 7-9 bottles of wine they had from either guests or as gifts. Since they don’t really drink they gave them to me. I figured I would be able to use them in recipes. I used a bottle when I made Gluhwein. It is a mulled red wine that gets heated down to become a very sweet treat. It is perfect in the Winter.
Now that Fall is Near I figured I could use up another bottle making some Sangria. I chose to use peaches and cherries mostly because I had leftover peaches from a sandwich I made and I just really like cherries. If you don’t like either fruit feel free to substitute.

Directions: Place the cherries and peach slices in a pitcher, and pour the Chardonnay over top the fruit. Let sit up to 4 hours or overnight. Fill a wine glass halfway with the wine and fruit mixture. Top with the Peach Moscato champagne.
I think that it was sweet enough and didn’t need to add anything however feel free to add a TSP of sugar if you prefer it sweeter or milder. You can also splash with Sprite for a milder taste too.
Feel free to also check out my Mango Sangria, Fresh and Fruity Sangria, or Watermelon Sangria.
Do you like Sangria?
What fruits do you add to Sangria?

- 1 Bottle Chardonnay (750ml) ~ 1 cup frozen cherries ~ 1 Large peach (peeled and sliced) ~ Peach Moscato
- Place the cherries and peach slices in a pitcher, and pour the Chardonnay over top the fruit. Let sit up to 4 hours or overnight. Fill a wine glass halfway with the wine and fruit mixture. Top with the Peach Moscato champagne.

sangria is my FAV summer drink but i’ve never heard of cherry peach sangria! will definitely have to bookmark this and try it! thanks for sharing!!
The peach was the stronger flavor but the cherry was a nice compliment to it. Hope you like it!
Ahhh sounds so bloody good!
It was good and I was drinking it while watching Bachelor in Paradise of course! 😉
I like my sangria with some fizz so I would definitely take your Sprite suggestion. Sounds good. And, I’m in awe of the fact that wine lasts that long in your house… you have lots of willpower 😉
The Peach Moscato was a champagne so it was a little bubbly but Sprite would add a little extra fizz for sure! I don’t drink nearly that often. 😉
I love peaches in sangria, white grapes too (frozen).
I wanted to add grapes but I totally forget them at the store. Next time!
Those are the perfect fruits to add to the sangria for fall!! I have a problem with being impatient and letting it sit for 4 hours would be so hard for me lol!
Haha! The waiting is hard but it does bring out the fruit flavors more if you wait. 😉
YUMMY! this ga girl loves anything peach.
The fresh peaches and the peach moscato make it very peach-y! I loved it, and I know you would too! 😉
Sounds wonderful!! Thanks!
Love, SMD’s Momma
Thank you. It was very refreshing.
Um, yum. I am all about sangria.
It makes bad wine, good again! 😉
I know it’s only 10am, but I could totally go for a few glasses of that right about now 🙂
I think i am ready for a glass or two as well! Happy Hour!
this is my favourite recipe ever.
Why, thank you. I had some more last night! 😉
SO tasty!
Thank you. It’s not often I drink but it was very light.
mmm peach is my favorite!
The peach flavor was strong, but in a good way.
I am going to need some of this RIGHT NOW! I love cherry anything!
Make a batch right away! 😉
Ooo, looks amazing. I love peach drinks.
Thank you. You would love this then, the peach moscato really brings out the peach flavor.
YUMMMMMMMMMMM! Now this will get me in the fall spirit for sure 😀
Don’t worry it will work poolside too! 😉
I love sangria with berries & oranges. I’ve never tried a peach one before. I am going to have to try it soon!!
I love it with Oranges. The peach flavor is really nice in this one. Hope you give it a try.
I’ve actually never had sangria. Not a big wine girl. But cherries and peaches… yum!
Say what?! It really is good since it is on the sweeter side it’s easier to smooth into drinking wine.
MMM I love a good sangria…any season. I’m always game for some! This sounds delicious 🙂
It really is good year round! Thank you!
yum – i love sangria and this sounds fantastics!!
You really can’t go wrong with Sangria!
This looks so good!
Thank you. It was a nice treat after a stressful week.
yummy! Sounds refreshing and delish! You know I am trying this once I am 100% over my cold, I’m at like 85% now, so I will be looking forward to this =P
Glad you are getting better! Hope you like it!
Yum I love sangria! I like adding chopped apples or different frozen berries likes raspberries and blueberries.
Raspberries and blueberries is a very good combination.
I love peaches but have typically used strawberries, apples and oranges in Sangria. I def would like to try peach. Also, I wasn’t really into Sangria but as my alcohol tolerance dwindles this may be good for me 🙂
I love strawberries and oranges too. It is lighter than hard alcohol and easier to drink than plain wine. The fruit totally makes it healthy right? 😉
oh that peach moscato is MY FAVORITE!! Definitely going to give this a try!
Isn’t it so good, and the screw top to reseal. Perfect!
mmmmmmm I wish I wasn’t at work so I could make this! I will be picking up these ingredients and making some for Saturday morning 🙂 THANK YOU!
Hope you like it. Let me know if you make it!
Now, I have to admit…peach flavor isn’t my favorite flavor, but this looks like a must try for me! YUM!
I don’t really each peaches all that much but the flavor was really nice. Hope you give it a try.
That sounds great, Kerry. I love Moscato…the flavored one must be fabulous! Great flavor combination. Cheers!
Thank you. The peach flavor was really nice. This might be my favorite so far.
Peach sangria is wonderful. The addition of cherries makes it sound divine!
Thank you. The peach is the more dominant flavor but the hint of cherries was nice.
I always think I like sangria– like whenever I see anyone drinking it, but whenever I have it, I just really don’t care for it! However… I loooove peach so this looks delicious! Could you do it without the cherries or would that taste weird?
You could easily do it without the cherries. It is really just sweeter versions of wine. You can always add Sprite too if it is not sweet enough.
