Happy Friday! I am so excited that I have this day off. I hopefully will get out to the hiking trails to enjoy it, after the insurance adjuster comes out and takes a look at my basement again. I am also heading out for another girls night for a beer tasting. I am just hoping my liver can stand a third night of drinking, I am not 21 anymore. Wish me luck.
I am also switching it up this week and linking up with Amanda at Meet At The Barre for Friday Favorites since hers always makes me laugh.
Favorite Song
Like I’ve said before I like all music but I am a rocker chick at heart. It is what I listen to at the gym, in the car, and when I want to tone people out at work.
Favorite Recipe
I am going to be cheesy and say my own Eggplant Parmesan because I do love it and am making it again this weekend. Addicted.
Favorite Mug of The Week
A Friday wouldn’t be a Friday without the mug of the week. So this week I am giving one a Virtual Mug to Kelli of She Crab Soup. She makes me jealous living so close to the beach and having actual warm weather to enjoy it. She also works from home and started a new series from How To Design Your Own Blog so be sure to check her out.

After a really horrible book I was so glad to pick up a nice light and fun book. I didn’t want to put this book down and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
From Good Reads: The up-and-coming matchmaking agency Kinnections is the hottest thing to hit Verily, New York—just like Kennedy Ashe, social director for the service she owns with her two best girlfriends. A coach, consultant, and cheerleader rolled into one super-sizzling package, Kennedy creates dream dates, encourages singles to shine, and never refuses a challenge—not even Nate Ellison Raymond Dunkle, rocket scientist, nerd extraordinaire, and Kennedy’s newest client.
Kennedy vows to work her magic and transform this hot mess in a lab coat with a disastrous relationship track record into the most wanted man on the Verily dating scene. If only she could turn the wand on herself . . .
Though she radiates confidence and sex appeal, Kennedy harbors deep-seated insecurities from a tormented past and lifelong struggle with weight issues. When she realizes she and Nate are cut from the same cloth and might be perfect together, can Kennedy learn to let her heart lead the way? Or will her fears sentence her to the sidelines as Nate finds love—with someone else?

What I need to do this weekend but what I feel like doing. Cue up an episode of Hoarders that always help.
Just me? No.
How I felt about getting to see Maddie again last night when she came up to Boston. We got to be snarky and sassy together. Her Sister In Law also got to learn a little more than she wanted about blogging. So many laughs.
What are you up to this weekend?
